the one regret I have is not being a friend to the physically (but not mentally, at least not significantly so) handicapped kid that I always got partnered with in gym class cuz he was...him and I was the new kid in school. I defended him from a bully once and after that he decided we were friends but I really just wanted to fit in and not be seen with him so I kept politely turning down invites to hang out and kinda ignored him outside of gym.
then he died a few months later

13-15 is about what I was thinking also.
There are some ISSUES regarding having any relationships during those first few years, but high school is one of those experiences that, in hindsight, is a lot less important than it seems and I would probably make some seriously different decisions.
And I was thinking far less of money and more of going through that period of time where you wish you could tell yourself its gonna be okay... but taking it one step further.
But if money was the thing, I would go back to when I was 13, and spend the next 10 years or so saving up every single penny I could. I would buy into a LOT of magic the gathering alpha and sell it off, I would do everything I could to have as much money as I could in 2002 so I could buy as many Apple shares as I could at 7 bucks a pop.
