Welp, that's it, that's the entirety of my E3 wishlist confirmed. Dishonored 2, Dark Souls 3, and Persona 5.
Excuse me sir but do you have a moment to talk about our GOTY and time sink Fallout 4?
Ehhhh...I mean I'll still play it when it has all of its DLC in the GOTY edition, but Fallout doesn't get its hooks as deeply into me as the other three, Persona in particular when I have so many Persona/SMT games now. By comparison I've only played New Vegas, and while it was a fun ride the lack of fantasy elements keeps it from being near and dear to my heart.

Dark Souls 3 trailer debuted during the MS E3 press conference.
There were rumors it was only a "maybe" on PC but Bandai Namco Europe are tweeting it is confirmed as coming to PC.
Excuse me but why is the crowd politely clapping for Dark fucking Souls 3? People need to be a bit more hype than that.
It got leaked heavily a week or so ago so I think it's mostly just a lack of "surprise."
Also I am not super up on Dark Souls lore, but I could not tell what the hell was going on in that trailer. It was just random dark monsters
That's par for the course with From Software trailers.
It actually seems to be the most connected as far as their games go. The big dude that wakes up appears to be the Giant Lord from DS2, and the crown the human figure puts on IIRC is from the DS2 DLC.

Because it's expected and Souls games are lame?
I was all set to dispute your statement but then I got thinking. I really want to like the Souls games (and Bloodbourne, by extension.)
But every time I think about putting any meaningful amount of time into the games, there's always something else that is just easier to get into or keep playing. I kinda don't understand it, the Souls games seem like they'd be right up my alley.
Stepped into work today with all hell breaking loose. Fortunately all the (metaphorical) fires seem to be out now so I can actually catch up with personal email and the forum.
With that out of the way, I think I'm feeling a little like @Pixelated Pixie when I found I had been triple gifted overnight. There was this pop up:
along with two other gifts of Remember Me from @Talus9952 and @Iolo.
Thanks so much you two, but I'm going to accept the game from @RoyceSraphim as he was the first. You two are still going on the list for the attempt.
Royce, thank you very much. I've had my eye on this one for some time with all the glowing reviews from everyone. It's definitely going towards the top of my playlist.
I think that the internet has been for years on the path to creating what is essentially an electronic Necronomicon: A collection of blasphemous unrealities so perverse that to even glimpse at its contents, if but for a moment, is to irrevocably forfeit a portion of your sanity.

Oh, so the Shadowrun games aren't actually changing in price despite being a daily deal
That's... that's cool, I guess?
Discounts are just lagging behind. Check again in 10 minutes.
Nearly two hours later and they haven't updated, so I'm guessing that they're not going to. Not that I mind much - they're still dirt cheap - but come on, don't advertise a franchise as being a daily deal and then not actually give it a price cut.

Divinity: Original Sin why you gotta be like that?
It's not even as good as the deal offered by Steam a couple of months ago.
Damn it Steam get your shit together. I started a game. I beat the level 10 boss. No cards. I started a new game. I beat the level 10 boss. No cards. This clicker game was already dumb. Now it's dumb and broken.
I started a game, got a card. Forgot I started a game and came back to see it was around level 25, got a second card.

If I was only gonna get one version of Dead Rising 2, which one should I get?
I'd like an opinion on this too. Is there any chance that either version has a non-timed mode where I can just play around in a giant zombie sandbox in Vegas?

Now for your regularly scheduled "What's happening in the FO4 video stuff?" query. Wife's reading next to me, so I have no audio to Learn Stuff.

I get two of three cards and get to skip out on Vietnam? Cool!
Uhhh... @destroyah87 just class-bombed me. He launched ICBMs. Jesus. Thanks for Fallout 4, Just Cause 3, Saints Row IV, and Defense Gird 2. In the words of one of my friends, "Great gobs of gooseshit!"
SEND HIM A KITTEN!!!
(Kidding, don't send him any pets - he doesn't need any pets. The kitten thing is a joke from when he class-bombed me.)
Other than the one Tika and I are going to send him...
Who can sneak me his address?
What do you mean he can see this?
Seriously though - someone has to have his address, I have something for him.
It's not something he wouldn't want.
Destroyah87 could just send it to me.
Seriously, it's not a kitten and we're not THAT crazy.

I felt the same about the first Dark Souls, but once I stuck with it and the gameplay 'clicked' for me, I was hooked. Probably took about 3 hours (and many deaths) before that happened, though
What gets me into the Souls games are how they approach story. It's kind of there in the main game but the meat is in exploration, extrapolation, and dialogue.

Yeah, it shouldn't take 3 hours for a thing to finally be fun or good.

Learning to play the guitar was not fun, but now that I know how I have a lot of fun playing. I get that you don't want a barrier to entry in your gaming, but having a steep learning curve doesn't make something inherently bad.

Learning a skill and playing a game are vastly different things for me. I have little enough leisure time that I place a premium on it in ways that I don't for stuff like going to the gym or studying taekwondo.

I think nested spoilers and notifications have been fixed for a little while now.
Though it's hard to tell, since Mudzgut's post had an unnested notification in the quote tree before his own nested one.
I've never actually played Grim Fandango, so this will not be the remastered, just the original to me. I've heard it's good!

Looks like Rare's Pirate MMO is hitting PC too. Says Windows 10 at the end of the trailer.
I don't think think this was mentioned at the conference itself, just Xbox One.
