If I had the ability to add a Nintendo-owned boss fight to Shovel Knight, regardless of cost, I'd have you fight the Wonderful 100. Like, the whole team.

Finally picked up Rayman Legends. Only played it for about an hour but it seems there is a TON of content here. Very fun game so far too!
Castle Rock never gets old.
I really like Rayman Legends, but none of the other levels really live up to Castle Rock. That said, there aren't many levels in ANY game that live up to Castle Rock.

Speaking of Shovel Knight, I kinda wish that Freedom Planet was coming out sooner for you guys, and not in early Aug.
You know how Shovel Knight is the best non-NES game ever made? Well, Freedom Planet is the best non-Genesis game ever made.
It really is the best Sonic game I've ever played.
And the best Gunstar Heroes game.
It's pretty much a heavy mix of Sonic, Gunstar Heroes, and Sparkster with a dash of Mega Man X.
And it's so good that it's single highhandedly stopped me from caring about any 'as good as Genesis' or 'as good as Generations/Colors' Sonic games. I just don't are anymore. Freedom Planet is better. Give me a sequel of that.
I dunno what the reviews were on about saying Yoshi isn't hard, I've just done 1-S and to collect everything was bloody difficult. Took my loads of tries. Managed to get all collectibles in one go, then had to do another run through to get the "arrive at the end with full health star".
Japan-based Nintendo is planning to launch its next-generation games console in 2016 and has recently asked its supply chain partners to start pilot production in October, at the latest. The console will be manufactured by Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry), but Pegatron Technology is aggressively trying to snatch some of the orders, according to sources familiar to the plan.
Pegatron and Foxconn both declined to comment.
Nintendo in March announced its plan of releasing Nintendo NX in 2016 and has started visiting its supply chain partners recently. The orders are expected to be finalized in February or March 2016 and mass production will start in May or June 2016, while the console's official launch may take place around July, the sources said.
Nintendo reportedly is looking to ship 20 million Nintendo NX in the first year. The shipment volume of Wii U is estimated at two million units in 2015, according to Digitimes Research.
Component suppliers such as Foxconn Technology, Macronix, PixArt Imaging, Coxon Precise Industrial, Nishoku Technology, Delta Electronics, Lingsen Precision Industries and Jentech, are also expected to land orders from Nintendo for the new console, the sources added.

@MNC Dover Congrats on the baby! I'll hold off from hating you right now because of her. :P
Seriously, is this your first? I have three and they are three of the best things about my life. My daughter turns thirteen in a couple months and it has been depressing me something fierce because it makes me feel old.

I would love an NX rumor that says more than 'this is a thing getting made.'
As if the console existing in stores is the only incentive needed to sell it.

I'll own Nintendo's next console. There is no question there.
The Wii U will end up being on the same list as the Dreamcast: The system that was criminally under appreciated and had some of the best games of the generation that not enough people played.
I hope you can feel how much I'm hating you right now.
All is forgiven if you swipe the Miyamoto puppet for me.
My bad man, my bad....is this better?!
Edit: If you add in the fact that the wife and I found out today that we're having a girl. I can say with certainty that it's been an AMAZING DAY!
Congrats on the incoming baby, guy. If you keep your current job for a few more years, she can tell her friends her dad works for Nintendo.
It's so sad that she'll have to grow up without a father, due to Dover going to prison for his multiple NDA breaches.
The sentence for that isn't prison, it's being turned into a muppet.
Actually, we get turned into a unique amiibo and placed on Reggie's shelf to live out eternity. That's Nintendo for ya though, always doing their own thing instead of following industry standards for leaked NDA stuff. Not that I'd ever leak anything. :P

Yup, our first! I met my wife late in life and will end up being REALLY old when she's 13. In fact, I'll be 53....damn....

next time, I'm not buying one till the Zelda is out (assuming it comes out for said console)
edit: literally every other Nintendo console has had one or more new Zelda's at this point in the life of the console. I'm not holding out much hope for Wii U

Funny enough I like Zelda, but it's one of the franchises that I least look forward to at Nintendo. I mean, I love Zelda, but Nintendo has many more that I look forward to more when announced.
I'm always chomping at the bit for the next core Mario game. Metroid is my next most sought after franchise. Then I'm always up for the new Kart/Smash. I hope against hope that they have Pikmin 4 in the works currently.
I guess what I'm saying is that I like the majority of Nintendo's 1st party franchises. I even look forward to the new Mario Party because my kids and I play them to death.
I mean, this year alone Nintendo dominates the competition for me with Splatoon, Wooly World, Mario Maker, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Star Fox. But those are just my tastes. The only game I looked forward too as much as what Nintendo is doing this year was Arkham Knight, and I'm currently having a blast with it.
I understand that I'm in the minority when it comes to Nintendo's franchises, but I'm ok with that. Why be like everyone else? :P
The Wii U already has Windwaker HD, then the new one next year.
So it's pretty much on par with the Wii releases...right? Twilight Princess and then near the end of the console's life Skyward Sword.
The Wii U also has Hyrule Warriors but that technically isn't a standard Zelda game.
Windwaker isn't new though.
Wii launched with Twilight Princess. All other consoles had a new Zelda in a year and a half. I think the Wii U is coming up on 3 years in November and it'll be at least 4 years when (if) it gets a new Zelda.

Yeah, it's a spinoff, but i quite liked other spinoffs like FSA.
By the time you're done, Zelda for Wii U will be out.
It's not for me and it's definitely not Zelda (aside from borrowing the characters)
Interesting sentiment.
Makes you think. What really is Zelda? The characters? The setting? The game mechanics?
I guess I'd say it's some of each, but not entirely any one of them. Though, Okami is still one of my favorite Zelda games.
Despite the high quality of the Wii U's library, the genre diversity is still really terrible, even three years into the console's lifespan.
Nintendo would have to make a pretty convincing argument to make me believe that this won't also be a problem on their next thing.
