IIRC this is like the crappiest tea you can buy, because the grading system goes -> buds (or Orange Pekoe), leaves, broken leaves, broken leaves+stems. I think Lipton buys up the last category.

Isn't chaff or "fannings" in there too somewhere? Like the really bad grade?

Iced sweet tea is the best tea.

That's called "dust", because that's literally what it is.

I grew up in Texas drinking Iced Tea (both sweet and unsweet - I cannot do the Georgia level of sweetness). Fortunately, everyplace in the south serves brewed iced tea, not from a fountain or a can, both of which are disgusting.

I'm not a tea connoisseur. My goto tea of choice is actually plain ol' Lipton, probably because I don't know any better (which is still superior to the teabags we get at work in the break room, imo.) I also drink my tea without milk, sugar, or anything else in it. I guess I drink it like some people drink coffee.

If anyone has ideas on what the local stores might have in a "good" tea, I would happily be willing to try it, just to see the difference.

    I like Earl Grey tea.

I just make it with those little tea bags though. (twinnings usually)

    Then add to much sugar.

I just found out my wife threw away all of our tea, including my loose leaf rose petal tea. I'm going to yell at her because I had like 5 tins of the stuff and it cost me over $11 for each one

I practically only ever drink tea in winter and then only Earl Grey with milk and a real good dollop of honey. Keeps the sniffles away.

The milk is super-important because it brings out the flavor (in some varieties of tea)

The N-word is not banned. It was previously, but this was rescinded years ago. I learned this in D&D when we were discussing racism and cultural appropriation.

Why would you put random shit in your tea or coffee.

    It's Coffee!/Tea!

The only time I'd put stuff in a coffee would be if for some reason I was getting just a coffee at Tim Horton's and then obviously I need to put stuff in it because their coffee is terrible. But that's also why I don't get coffee at Timmies.

  • Options

This is exactly my policy down to the Tim Hortons exception clause
