Afraid to pull a trigger on a date, as the scuttlebutt is that the Spectator/Commentator view for Private Matches may miss the patch on the 21st. Was hoping to get enough Oosiks for a civil war, and then commentate/cast it. I'mma do some digging on the calendar to see when next after that might work. mid-to-late August as a guesstimate?

An August date would work better for me. Work is stressing me out so wouldn't be able to play around that time this month. Which really sucks since I was looking forward to getting my Arctic Cheetah and being able to play it the weekend they come out. That one day of Oosik scrums allowed me to wipe out all the negativity of this game so I'm fresh again and enjoying blowing up stompy bots.
Plus I might go over to the Iron Oosiks to help out the numbers if we're going to do a civil war type deal.

So did they just pick the names and paint jobs for the too new premium 'mechs at random or what? I mean, I don't get them, thematically. Like, I guess the Quarantine is kind of a radioactive color and has the quarantine symbol on it, but the Top Dog is just... purple? Purple and hot pink? Because... why, exactly? I mean, premium 'mechs used to generally have some sort of thematic consistency with their names and paint jobs and stuff and now it's like, are you even trying?
We will be rolling out a hot-fix today (Thursday July 9th) tentatively scheduled for 3:00 PM PDT (10:00PM UTC), with the following changes:
• Fixing an issue where the targeting reticle would sometimes not re-flash upon striking a target with a quick follow-up hit, most noticeably when the initial flash is fading out
• Fixing performance issues for 32-bit clients resulting from the July 7th patch
• Fixing an issue where components could still function despite appearing to be destroyed
The estimated downtime required for this hot-fix will be approximately 30 minutes.
When services are restored you will be required to apply a small patch.
UPDATE: The map selection weight for River City will be increased once services are restored. It will have a 25% chance of being selected (up from a 16% chance).

August works better for me; I should have my computer rebuilt and this month is full of travel and vacations as it stands.

I think it's kinda funny that the 9S has snapped around to being underrated; it's not as ridiculous as it was before but it can pump out a lot of damage at long range with 2xERPPC

The Tier lists are not saying how good a mech is overall, or even within the meta, its for how well a mech performs at its designated function, so the Treb is Tier 2 for fire support.

I've been running an AMD Bulldozer 8-Core with 16GB and 4x500gb conventional drives for like two years. If I had the money, that's the build I'd probably go with.
