Ugh, ate at one of those Japanese resturaunts where they cook your food at your table for my boss's retirement lunch.

Food tasted good, but the turmoil in my tummy tells me that it's going to be a rough night.

I can feel a sick day coming on.

I cannot abide the taste of licorice. It is the worst candy.

    Worse than off-brand candy corn.

    I agree with you 100%.

Which is why I'm baffled that I like jagerbombs. They don't taste like licorice to me at all.

Well... now I am super curious.

Well, that was easy, needed to parallelize part of a script and it turns out I can just put -Parallel on the foreach loop

looks like I've accomplished enough for today.

There's a Sysadmin thread in Moe's Tech Tavern that you might like to check out.

Realtalk it looks like maybe the course description was written by a nontechnical person in the 90's and never updated? The certs listed (CCNA, A+, Microsoft Server) are all good but this
As a graduate, you'll be prepared for careers in installation and repair of computer networking systems, microprocessor-based equipment and personal computers; computer-aided design (CAD); analog and digital circuit assembly, installation, repair and maintenance; or technical sales support.
    (emphasis theirs)
sounds like bullshit. Installation and repair sounds like the job description of an HVAC guy. Installing network hardware isn't technical; configuring it to work in a given environment is something else entirely.

HVAC is a lot harder than installing network hardware.

It blows my mind that "history" and "heritage" get trotted out as arguments in favor of the Confederate flag

    Like uh

That argument don't fly in Germany, I tell ya what

a poem from one of my favorite books of last year addresses this

    something to the extent of

"they said it was heritage not hate / I asked them if they also had a British Flag."
My city actually does have a British flag, though

    Same here.

I don't like live sporting events either because everyone wants to stand up. Then you have to stand up so you aren't looking at the ass of the person in front of you.

People need to realize they paid for a seat and should use it.
