The new map seems kinda cool mechanically--an objective that targets/kills/lane bullies heroes--but aesthetically it's like they didn't even try to mask that it's the same art assets as battlefield. Sky temple seems more different from spider tomb visually.
Isn't SSS destined to be overshadowed by the ult that gives an ally an extra life?

Depends on when you have to time the buff, but yes. It will.

I guess it depends on also how effective building him as an assassin will be.
Seems like they really want him to be able to go full damage if the team needs it. My only worry though, is where else he will get his healing from. I feel like the reason Tyrnade is considered an inferior healer is because she has one skill and that is it. Her heal is actually pretty potent especially if you get a few talents for it, but it being ALL she has really makes her limited.
If Kara has just that aoe will that be enough? Sure he has that extra life ult, so that is more than tyr right there.
I just hope something other than the option for a trait that heals him on melee attacks is in his talents.
If it's like D3, SSS should be all completely invulnerable frames though, which can be legit.
Will have to see...
love me some D3 Monk... the only class I ever really played.

The teleport to allies is both an escape and an engage, so he has that.

Wow, so it looks like the monk's able to teleport to an enemy through a teammate. That looks really cool for battle mobility and being able to focus someone who's taken some damage. Looks like he'll be a blast to play all around, really.
Can't wait to get a new support, it's usually my best role in Hero League.
Rexxar seems pretty awesome as well, I hope the new heroes will change up the current meta soon. A bit tired of the "firstpick jaina/kael every single game" meta.

Well, there's no new assassins to really replace them yet, so...
his abilities right now just scream "i am going to be tyrande 2." hopefully the talents have serious healing potential in there since it'd suck to have a brand new support who can't heal.
rexxar looks neat though. wonder how long misha's rez timer is going to be.
Have you guys been experiencing a lot of lag / framerate issues lately? I've been dealing with it a lot in the past few weeks, and its starting to aggravate me, because I'm not able to mitigate it in any meaningful way. There are games where it just looks like a slideshow for me. I've turned all of the graphical settings down to low, or when possible, off, even though this computer's pretty good and the game suggests I run everything on high. That hasn't seemed to have any meaningful impact on the issue, however. I also thought maybe having my computer, 360 and PS4 all connected to the internet was slowing down my connection, but turning those other devices off while I play also hasn't solved the issue. Last night, I think @WingedWeasel and @Lucascraft were also experiencing the lag I was getting. So is it a server thing? Could you guys suggest a way to help resolve this issue for me (or am I not the only one with this problem right now)?
Check what else you have running on the network Ducks... For some reason (that I haven't figured out yet) having steam running at the same time as hots is a no-go for me... as soon as it decides to grab an update and my network traffic creeps up HotS begins to stutter.
I assume this is due to their lag/replay system, like when you DC and the game plays catchup via a replay or whatever.
But with the two systems I have wired to my router, if steam or any torrents are running heavy downloads I get what looks like a graphics issue (stuttering/lag) but I'm sure is actually lag.... as soon as I kill steam/utorrent on both systems I'm back to peak framerates with everything on high graphics-wise.
So yeah... check network traffic from other sources on the network and see what happens.
Tyrande is fine. The only problem is that she breaks the matchmaker in Quick Match, since the QM considers her a healer for the purposes of "even" matchmaking.
That's not to say she can't. I've won QM matches with Tyrande as my team's only support, and the other team got a Rehgar or LiLi or something.
Player skill, team coordination, and map awareness are way more important than getting a pure healer (in Quick Match).

tyrande is a really good character so i don't see what the problem with a second one is
we all know this, but we also know tyrande isn't a healing support. and sure it's winnable when you don't have one if the other team does, but it's a reasonable uphill climb, especially if you don't get a ton of burst damage. even blizzard's stats said support vs no support was 60-40, so it's certainly winnable but that still sucks for the team with 40.
also on maps like eternal conflict it's a huge penalty, since the fight in the middle takes for fucking ever and you need a healer to sustain it.
Foresight - Radiant Dash reveals the area
Overtake - Deadly Reach attacks increase movespeed
Healing Ward
Protective Shield
Level 7
Unknown 1
Unknown 2
Cleanse
Clairvoyance
Level 10
Seven-Sided Strike - become invulnerable and strike nearby Heroes.
Divine Palm - protect an ally from death.
Rexxar
Level 1
Grizzled Bear - Misha periodically reduces damage from enemy heroes.
Hunter Gatherer - gather regen globes to increase Health Regen. (unsure if it affects Misha)
Survivalistic Training - gather regen globes to increase Mana Regen.
Flare - gain vision of an area
Level 4
Hungry Bear - Misha's basic attacks heal her.
Crippling Talons - increase Spirit Swoop slow amount and duration.
Taking Flight - increase Spirit Swoop range, returns mana.
Easy Prey - Misha is more effective against Minions and Mercs.
Level 10
Bestial Wrath - increase Misha's basic attack damage.
Unleash the Boars - send a pack of Boars to hunt enemy heroes.
Level 13
Wildfire Bear - Misha deals damage to nearby enemies.
Thrill of the Hunt - basic attacks increase move speed.
Bear Necessities - Cast "Misha, Charge!" again if you don't hit a Hero.
Barkskin - Misha takes reduced ability damage after charging.
Level 20
Spirit Bond - increase Bestial Wrath duration and Misha heals Rexxar with her attacks.
Kill Command - Unleash the Boars deals more damage and roots enemies.
Frenzy of Kalimdor - your Basic Attacks deal more damage and Misha's attacks slow.
Hardened Skin - you and Misha take reduced damage.
If Divine Palm is built the way I think it's gonna be built, it'll actually take a little bit of skill to use...
There's a hero in LoL (Zilian) who has the exact same ult and on paper is seems OP... push button, grant second life.
What this doesn't address is that sometimes you get a second life and you're still fucked... surrounded by the enemy, caught in a bad position, outnumbered. It can still end poorly.
The LoL version is also only active for a second or two, so you need to be able to make a snap decision that the person you're saving is worth saving and not wasting your ult on, make sure they're in range AND tag them with it within a second or two of their death... As bursty as some heroes are in HotS, I think it's going to be a harder to use Ult than it first appears (assuming it is functionally the same, but I can't see it lasting more than a second or two... second life if they die within the next 10 seconds seems silly).
Assuming it works the same and has some indicative graphic (the guy who's about to rez twinkles or whatevs) it means there's also counterplay to it... just saw Kara drop his ult on the valla you were gonna squish? Change targets for a second till that wears off and if she hasn't gotten away, smash her now.
Looks pretty close to me. It looks more like real armor, so I guess that's different.
i mean, yea it's similar. but it's not judgement, it's like you tried to remake judgement now and wanted to stick a huge codpiece belt and random bits and bobs all over it. idk, i just think if you're going to make a skin based on a wow tier set, you should make it look like it exactly.

One downside I see for this Monk support is that he doesn't seem to be able to heal as much as the core healers (malf / lili / uther).
So he might be more of an assassin / warrior-esque like Sonya or the D2 Paladin with sustain.
So... matchmaker be damned.

Eh, we have no idea what his talents will do.
Like heals on his dash or and AoE heal to his trait that heals every x attack.

What do their stats say about games with Tyrande as a support vs Rehgar/Li Li/Uther/Malfurion? Tyrande isn't not a support. Like the double negative?

especially when they already did!
And that isn't a codpiece. It's like a shield built into the armor to protect his chest. Unless Uther's manhood is in the middle of his chest.
