Looks pretty close to me. It looks more like real armor, so I guess that's different.
i mean, yea it's similar. but it's not judgement, it's like you tried to remake judgement now and wanted to stick a huge codpiece belt and random bits and bobs all over it. idk, i just think if you're going to make a skin based on a wow tier set, you should make it look like it exactly.
especially when they already did!
Anyone who looks at that will recognize it as judgment. It's a different version but still completely recognizable. I'm glad they updated it for better graphics and it looks just fine for the uther and hots setting.
So Rexxar isn't *really* a ranged tank. He is a melee tank in which his pet is the tank, and he stands back and throws axes. So yes, Rexxar himself is ranged. But Misha is melee, and she's the tank. Rexxar's W is a Charge/Stun, which is a pretty basic tank initiate. And since Misha always attacks whatever Rexxar is throwing axes at, she is basically a remote extension of himself. She's not really a pet. Not like the Water Elemental or Ultralisk. Misha is more like an extension of his arm or something.

There do seem to be a lot of warriors being added to this game.
This might result in some of the "expensive" warriors getting moved into cheaper tiers. Like Chen.
This would make me happy.

Yeah, this is pretty much it, huh. I think I like it better this way, though. An actual Ranged Tank would be weird, cause how do you frontline if you want to be standing at range...?
I'm super fucking excited for Rexxar though, he looks great.
I don't think they've given us that info yet. I'm assuming that it would be a relatively short cooldown, since Rexxar is an incomplete hero without her. His W is completely non-functional if she's dead.

I could see his W turning into a hammer-of-justice-esque melee axe bash stun if Misha is dead. It seems kinda weird to have an ability that just doesn't work sometimes.
Either that or he is always able to resummon Misha, but maybe has to channel for an extended period of time to do it.
So on the topic of Kharazim, his tier 1 talent isn't very clear about the heal-punches. It just says that his punches heal. Does that mean they heal himself? Or does that mean that he can punch his friends in the face and heal them?

shrug. i still play wow and it just reminds me of how blizzard just can't help themselves from gluing a bunch of random bullshit to every piece of armor. oh well, least i save myself 10 bucks. they're 0-2 on the wow tier 2 skins for me, because wrath sonya update is neat and looks like the armor, but they added the terrible helm and no thanks.

well, tempest regalia is tier 6, but yea it was the 2nd wow set. technically malf has a stormrage set but it doesn't look anything like the wow set.
I didn't mean it was the 3rd tier, I meant it was the 3rd set based on a WoW tier. But I forgot about the Stormrage set so that actually makes it #4. And you're right, the Stormrage set doesn't look a thing like it does in WoW, except for the moose antlers.
I don't mind spending a bit on this game though... being busy with the family all the time my only real recreation is my gym membership and HotS. I don't find it too hard to spend $10-$20 month on sale items when something I want pops up.
When you really look at it, the game is a pretty good value for the number of hours played vs dollars spent... I think even with what I've spent so far I've gotten more bang for my buck than when I grabbed SC2....

The shoulders, hood, boots, and gloves look somewhat similar, too:
Yeah, even though $10/hero is a lot I'm getting so many hours out of hots that I don't care. I'll probably buy Leoric, Johanna, and Khar soon. I think I also want to pick up Kerrigan... But I also need to go and learn how to play all of them.

if i remember correctly, they actually changed it to make it look less like the druid set when they redid his model.

I personally don't have a problem with them changing them. The important elements are there. It conveys the idea of the set, even if it isn't exact.
We need to remember... the character models in WoW are hot garbage. Even the new ones that released with Warlords are still crap. That game is 10 years old. The models of Heroes are the best character models currently in any Blizzard game. That means they have the freedom to add more detail, more polygons, and higher resolution textures.
We certainly do not want a 1:1 translation from WoW to Heroes, because it would look awful if it did. Extra embellishment is fine, because they're working with a much better graphics engine.
Edit: Sort of like how Cloud in Advent Children is not a 1:1 translation from FFVII. And when the VII remake comes out, he will look even better still, with probably more embellishment on his outfit as well.

The helms are some of the best parts of the set. Judgement helm, Nightstalker hood, Avatar hood, Dying Light hood, Absolution hood.
Of course, there are also some truly terrible helms, like the Wrath Helm.
I like the Wrath helm on certain player models. It's silly but in an amusing "how can I weaponize my head" way like Gunther's request for a skull gun implant in Deus Ex.
But since the human model isn't one of the ones I liked it on, it doesn't work for me much on Sonya.

A skull gun? That's probably taking "headcanon" way too far.
At some point I really hope they add Anduin Wrynn as a Holy or Disc priest, and then add the Avatar set as a premium skin for him.
Edit: Disc would be preferred.

I just wish costumes were more affordable. I know people still buy them at their current price but I can't really justify blowing 10 bucks on a cosmetic thing for a character I use like 8% of the time I'm playing. Now if I could get 2-3 costumes for 10 bucks I'd buy so many.

Still waiting for Magni Muradin to go on sale. LET ME GIVE YOU MY MONEY, BLIZZ.
Right now there's a pretty good Nova bundle. If you don't already own Nova, you can get the character, plus 3 premium skins for a pretty nice discount. It's Amazon Nova, Spectre Nova, and Roller Derby Nova.

Plus, this is UTHER'S armor, not some scrublord paladin's version. I like the update, though I like the old version's hammer more.

I think the Jade Dragon skin is supposed to be a Temple of the Jade Serpent/Yu'lon inspired theme/motif, from Mists of Pandaria:
http://www.wowhead.com/zone=5956/temple-of-the-jade-serpent

That's the first thing that came to my mind, the design pretty much screams it.
