    Reboot????

The company that made Reboot made Beast Wars too, right?

Funny thing is, due to Canadian media laws, a kid's show couldn't have 'war' in the title, so we had Beasties instead. Confused me to no end.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer was renamed Buffy and the Vampires in Sweden for roughly the same reason: no anything violent in titles

    sweden is the european canada

Buffy and the Vampires is a pretty excellent title

Buffy and the Vampires is about Buffy and four Vampires forming a band and hitting the road. They have to learn to respect each other and also solve mysteries as they rock their way across the country.

Go to Trapper John's or Christopher's ( or any local pub for the most part) and tell them you are new to Newfoundland ( make sure to bring cab fare, you will be shitfaced shortly after)

Click spoiler if chicken, but if you click you still gotta do it! I'll find a way to inform the Newfies there's a newcomer amongst them!

Since we were speaking about renaming Buffy the Vampire Slayer, it should be noted that the porno version had one of the best porn titles of all time. Sure, Buffy the Vampire Layer, that works. Whatever. It's a famous one. People forget that it had a subtitle.

Buffy the Vampire Layer: Going Down for the Count

    no, they said excellent.

    clearly the A&W bear.

    Or whatever Harvey's mascot is.

I would crawl over a mountain of A&W, BK, McD's, or Wendy's burgers to have a Harvey's Black Angus w/Bacon burger. Also their fries. Also also their poutine.

Harvey's I find have a wide range of quality. I find the best ones are the places that share the premises with Swiss Chalet. Especially with the fries as you get chalet fries in that scenario.

Also A&W makes really good onion rings

naw, fur-based winter clothes would be northern Quebec/Ontario. Newfoundlanders keep warm with knitted goods.

Canadians are just insane for poutine, though. For example, our restaurant makes handmade, massive 6-ounce beef burgers that we've won awards for. They cost six bucks. We also make a poutine that uses cheap shredded mozza-cheddar mix and powdered gravy mix (it's technically vegetarian because it contains no beef stock), for which we charge $5.50. It's not bad, but it's definitely not a premium poutine. Some days, it's a tossup as to which sells better.

i'm going to need to know the name of this establishment, and 13 dollars.

I would like to know as well, I also live in KW and I enjoy a good burger

I've always wanted to do a road trip to Newfoundland to try the screech, but that's a long drive. I'm hoping someone opens up a Newfie themed pub in ottawa that'll serve it closer to home as it were.
