Well she does seem to be a less likable version of the main series Noire, but that may be somewhat in part related to her interactions with that player self-insert character, who's portrayed as standard self-berating spineless idiot male anime protagonist.
And it just went from "pick up on cheap" to "avoid like the plague".
I would however like a make a point that this is one of the things Ar NoSurge Plus really does well. It took the idea of a player self-insert character and took it in a relatively awesome new direction I don't think I've seen an RPG try before.
Seriously, I don't think I've seen an RPG where the characters start to get that the protagonist is being controlled by someone else, and actively starts trying to stop you.
Oof, the closest I can think of is (Spoiler: Monolift Software, Gamecube title, you know what it is if you've played it...)
Baten Kaitos
That seems to be on that level of meta shenanigans... well, maybe not quite that level.
The even weirder thing about Ar Nosurge Plus is they give literal canonical reasoning for the meta bullshit. It starts getting legitimately surreal after a while, but in a good way.

Said game I mentioned does it too, though to be fair that aspect of the worldbuilding isn't expanded on much until the prequel game that has a much weaker plot imo (well, that said the original is a bigger plot twist than any other game I've played... in part because it requires the meta stuff to work.)
Week after on the 29th is when Dancing all Night is released. I bought a nice PSVita on Ebay last week in preparation for dancing all night. I'm also a big fan of Lumines, which is my favorite handheld video game franchise.
So far I'm enjoying it a lot playing some Disgaea 4 while waiting for the 29th.

What? What? A new Vita owner? Weeeeeeeeeeeelcooooooooooome !
I bought the PS3 disc of Dragon's Crown on release day, and then the digital version on Vita that night instead of going to bed. It's possible that may happen with the new game of theirs, so cross-buy would be appreciated but I'm not holding my breath.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.
It says something about the intersections between 13 different character's stories, which sounds pretty adventure gamey. The total lack of gameplay didn't confirm or deny that. But it does sound like all those characters shown will be playable.
Gravity Rush 2 being PS4 exclusive is in the place where you eat Furies. in fury 'atin.
The motion controls being full 360 "spin around like a lunatic holding your vita!" just plain worked with it being a handheld. Or at least seemed that way to me. I might have gotten a few odd stares.
Unless you were in a moving vehicle, then motion controls are the devil in the details, the gremlins in the gears, you get the idea. Hey, did you want to slide off the side of this walkway? Toooo baaaaaaad!
Still, it being on PS4 means by proxy it will almost certainly be Remote Play-able.
Guess I'll just have to remote play the heck out of this game then!
HA! GOOD FUN! :hydra:
There is no aspect, no facet, no moment of life, that cannot be improved with pizza.
Remember how certain Square Enix PSP games for some god forsaken fucking reason never made it to the digital PSP storefront and thus aren't playable on the Vita without hacks?
GUESS WHAT GAME IS GETTING PORTED TO THE VITA AND PS4!?
Star Ocean: Second Evolution, the TOSE port with a modified battle system, lots of extras, and the glorious Welch Vineyard as a potential party member.
No news yet if Star Ocean: First Departure is getting the same treatment that I can see.
Star Ocean 2 is probably my most played PS1 game, had to have played through it like half a dozen times. And for an RPG, that really says something. PSP version got two playthroughs.
I always picked the same lineup though. Ashton was too swag to ever give up for another character.
The remake is guaranteed to get at least one playthrough. The overworld and battle themes are basically genetic memory at this point.
I really gotta play Star Ocean 2 when it gets ported over to Vita. I really liked SO3 and was always curious why so many SO fans seem to regard it with such disappointment after SO2.
Speaking of which, was anything shown about SO5 at TGS?
Star Ocean 3 has a far better battle system and a pretty good story.
But Star Ocean 2 had a great story and really great characters, half of which you can't get on a particular playthrough because there's so many different party combinations you can end up with and only so many slots.

Oh ok, Evangelion.
Most likely not, as Dragon's Crown was also not cross-buy. These days only indie games seem to be cross-buy. The best we can hope for is cross-save.

Nobody does 2D like Vanillaware and Ark System Works. They're in a league of their own.

ACE (Rock of Ages, Abyss Odyssey) does some solid work there, but it's not on Vanillaware's level.

Also, sci-fi Vanillaware with giant robots and highschoolers? Ok, I'm sold.
Edit: Front Mission, Persona, and Pacific Rim walk into a bar...
Best bar ever.

Long live region free.

I'm hoping there's some Sym-Bionic Titan mixed in as well.
But hot damn they announced a new SaGa and didn't really give any details and holy crap my body is ready.
If you want SaGa you should be excited for Legend of Legacy on the 3DS as well.

Damn it.
Surprise! Squeenix is still Squeenix.
I completely forgot it existed since I knew we weren't gonna get it regardless.
But hey, that Final Fantasy Adventure remake, what about that, huh? Pretty sure we've got a good chance at that one...
