Well, it's technically trading since you "sell" stuff for keys or other Rocket League items. You can also sell some of the more valuable items for real money but that's against the official rules and scams can happen.
In-game trading is pretty safe though and there's a bunch of very active communities like the RocketLeagueExchange subreddit, several discord servers or https://rocket-league.com/trading for example.

Spent all last night playing. Stayed up way too late. Kids made it hard to sleep most of the night too. Still worth it.
I did tons of the practice mode challenges and did quite a few 3v3 online matches. I got thrown into a LOT of games in progress with the other team dominating though. But still overall I felt kind of weak at things.
Played a few more this morning though, and was starting to really rock it. I still can't really aim a good aerial, but my overall situational awareness seemed to be getting solid.

No worries, sometimes I try to get on a bit earlier, especially on Wednesday nights. So yeah, hopefully I'll see you on! @dalituba, @Agentflit and I had a great round of 3v3 last night. So we'll definitely try to get another round going tonight.
maybe I'll see some of y'all on tonight! I like to do mentoring sessions, I can probably help with some general tips. I'm not amazing but folks have said I'm pretty good at explaining mechanics so I'm down to help
If you guys ever end up doing private matches to practice (or just for fun) and need one more to even things up I'm usually up for it. I'd offer to play ranked as well but my pings sometimes are a bit high on the US servers so I'd probably just mess up more than usual.

I play very rarely but I usually buy the cars when they show up to support and have new shinies when I do play, but that's not gonna happen here.
All the first cars from crates (dominus GT, etc) can all be gotten for $1 (key) each now.
