what minions was he dropping on curve and what deck were you playing?
if you were hunter or other aggro and he dropped like, chow, sunfury, some 3 drop, then I understand, especially if he had no molten giant or hellfire in hand.
I was using Grim Patron Warrior.
Turn 1 I passed.
Their turn 1 they coined out Zombie Chow.
Then I equipped my Fiery War Axe
Turn 2 they dropped Ancient Watcher, hit my face with Chow
Then I killed the Zombie Chow, can't remember what I did mana wise.
Turn 3 they dropped Ironbeak and Silenced the Watcher
At that point I played Acolyte of Pain and used Whirlwind.
He dropped a twilight drake turn 4, only getting it up to a 4/4.
I then sent the acolyte into the drake and used the fiery war axe to finish it off, and used one of my executes on the watcher.
Turn 5 he tapped and passed.
I dropped Thaurissan.
Turn 6 they used Siphon Soul on my Thaurrisan (another wtf moment)
I dropped Acolyte and Death's Bite and prepped it by using it on his face.
Turn 7 they dropped Mountain Giant.
I dropped Warsong, Frothing, Patron. Inner Raged one patron, Inner raged it's spawn. Hit his face with Death's Bite.
He conceded.
Edit: I remember first turn now, filled in blanks.
Thass is a big threat and if he had no other removal, then siphon seems reasonable. And it obviously sounds like he didn't have any hellfires or taunt enablers so he may have been attempting to have a better midrange minion presence as that can win against patron if patron doesn't draw and play a combo in time. Which obviously didn't work since you had 6 combo related cards ready to go turn 7.
Basically he didn't draw the cards to be the control in the match so he had to try to be the beatdown instead which is a reasonable decision to make even if the cards he had still didn't really enable it well.
The siphon soul was because I didn't expect them to have it in the deck, but it does make sense to have some hard removal in there considering rank 14 (in contrast to 15) seems to be control city right now.
I wasn't really exerting any pressure on him early game, at least I didn't feel like I was.
Maybe I suckered him into thinking I didn't have the removal tools by leaving the Watcher up to attack me for another 4 damage.
It's interesting to analyse at least, it'll help me improve.

on the one hand I want extra decks because ocd leads me to want 1 of each hero and that leaves zero room for different' deck types besides one per class
on the other hand idk how my ocd is gonna handle those extra decks. I really hope they allow us to move them around the screen/list a la what they added for WoW and d3. that makes my enjoyment shoot up beyond what is reasonable.

He went aggressive because you weren't exerting any pressure. Handlock can't play purely control against Patron Warrior because of the Frothing kill, so he needed to play aggressively and hope you were forced to waste your resources defending yourself so you wouldn't be able to combo off. The fact that he didn't have an AoE makes it even more important that he have board presence to deal with a four Patron board.
Now, the fact that he played Twilight Drake on 4 and Mountain Giant on 7 is odd as playing a 4/9-10 on turn 4 and an 8/8 on turn 5 is the best way to put pressure on warrior, but if he drew them the turn he played them it makes sense.

(Okay, I don't handle the UI part, but....)
Yeah, the UI part is the issue. The pick your deck screen has 9 spots and its pretty full. I'm interested to see what they do with it. It has to work on both PC and phone. The "quick" fix would be a "more decks" button or something that switches to a new screen of 9 decks, but that gets clunky really fast if you go beyond 18. Maybe add a class selection screen between the Play Mode button and the deck list, then you have 9 slots per class.

I lost pretty hard when I played it too! I don't think it's some unbeatable deck it's just truly amazing the frequency with which these owls are drawn.
I've won some of those games iirc, though I usually lose to it.
The quick and mad easy fix is to open a new small window that shows you the decks you have for that hero. Make the first page just all heroes with the number of decks you have for each shown.

just select class on the right
screen on the left populates with 9 deck slots like we already see (instead of class picture, just show card back)
select empty slots to make a new deck for that class
when going into play mode, you click the class and then the deck. One extra selection ain't that big of a deal.

I'm having one of those days. Playing dragon paladin, lose 4 rounds in a row to patron. What a comeback deck. Go from having board control with numerous 3+/4+ dragons against an empty bored to dead/no board control and about to die in one round. Fun.
Swap to control warrior. Lose turn 4 to murloc warlock perfect draw.

Patron Warrior is actually one of those decks that can completely punish you just for having a strong board. It's the main reason I think that deck is totally busted. It's like the old mid range Hunter that could dish out a ton of damage and draw a shitload of cards and completely overwhelm you even though you are playing the game the way it's meant to be played.
I think nerfing the draw engine and maybe something about Warsong Commander would bring it in line a little. But it's also not as prolific as the old buzzard Hunter and much harder to play correctly so I dunno.

I know this was a bit ago, but you need 1 Siphon because even though it's way overpriced it's your only silver bullet removal. Things like Ysera and Tirion dodge BGH and are inefficient to kill via Darkbombs and Hellfire/Shadowflame.
Won about six games in a row yesterday, effortlessly cruising up the ranks.
Today I'm like 1 for 8. This is infuriating. It mostly seems to come down to just AWFUL initial draws, like no good plays before turn 4, which is astounding because this is an aggro deck.
I'm on crazy tilt, but I will win another before I stop for the night.
EDIT: So in another little game I play called MouseHunt, there is a forum section called "Cheese and Whine", where players can go to whine about bad luck they are having. Inevitably upon complaining, their bad luck ceases, and they are caused to look like fools for complaining. Guess what happened in my first game after coming in here and whinging to you all?

The problem with Sea Plunderer is the same problem that exists with Flame Leviathan. Very strong (albeit inconsistent) on-draw ability, but there's practically no reason to actually play the minion afterward. Flame Lev is JUST a 7/7 for 7 afterward. Sea Plunderer is JUST a 6/7 for 6 afterward.

Yeah, although at that point vs druid you've already lost because you've lost one block and haven't even started putting lethal together, so it sort of didn't matter what he did.
So I lost to a Malganis popping out......in arena. Might have been a 12 win deck but yeah, whoo arena.
On the upside, my win rate has def gone up in arena since I basically tech for paladin and Mage now. A touch less than 70% of my arena losses are to those classes, so trading a couple points against the other classes to get a lot against those classes has helped. Granted, it's better just to play Mage or pally, but this raised my rate by another win per run on average on the past couple weeks.

I hope you put a bunch of minions out, I will win. Freeze mage, I just make sure I have 30 armor before turn 8, every other deck is just an auto win.
They need to nerf frothing and make warsong ONLY give minions with 3 attack or less charge. So if I buff the crap out of something it will lose it's charge.
