Pilliquock - now that you mention it, I do kind of get the feeling that this wasn't intended as a stage when it was built. The stairs look like they might have been moved into place later on.

Malachi is going to jump and it is going to wake up the giant boar under the stage, which will burst out of the creepy door and chase everyone away.

Everyone will agree that his talent is the best.

I just wanted to say, I really like the background in this strip. The colors are very pleasant and the trees and bushes really pop.

Roymaster45 - it is a little hard to tell. In this comic it looks clearly like some sort of storage building to me. It looks a lot shorter height wise in the prior comic.
