I was at low heavy when that happened, but when I saw all the names pop up it was awesome!
...Until their entire team spawned in the next room over from me and I died and they got heavy...
And I just looked back at our match history during that group, and that one terribad game on Twilight Gap was the only match we lost!
My final match of the night was solo to finally hit rank 5, led my team to victory on The Anomaly (hopefully I'll get a video uploaded of how I started the match). Got Objectively Correct, The Best...Around and At Any Cost badges, among others.
22 kills, 2.0 KD, I didn't need the rest of you dragging me down anyway!!

Lightswitch is a pain in the ass. Oh, didn't notice that melee captain coming out of the door behind the guy without taint or immunity? Enjoy a party wipe! Oh, you have a Saint-14 bubble? These three melee vandals think that's cute.
Edit: @DouglasDanger HM Crota is pretty easy at 34 if you have someone experienced at running the sword at the end. I posted up a 32/34 PoE for tonight but if you wanna roll bubblebro and if @Casually Hardcore has a bubble or a hunter (I've only got a 34 warlock and my experience with multi-warlock parties has been frustrating) we can try to get all 3 of us a Skolas kill.

Yup. Stopping to think about it, beyond how weird it is to completely recast and re-record a role already played, I actually appreciate that they're willing to do it, and to get someone who they will have access to for future content.

Makes sense. Maybe they will let us ascend year-one legendaries at the end of year two, but having them ascendable right away just makes it too hard to keep people interested in the new guns and gear.

So Ghost might even have something to say for once in 8 months?
It felt so out of place having Ghost talk about the a single wizard and the Worlds Grave, but Vault of Glass, Crota's End and Prisoner of Elders - Not a single pip out of him.
Now if only they replaced the barebones story with something coherent and please no more "I dont have time to explain why I dont have time to explain" lines.
Also The Speaker's famous - "The stories I could tell you..." Which I wont, because fuck you.

Well, I mean, I guess some of this stuff will still be useful in PvP. And I'm actually kind of glad to hear it, as I want to get back on the treadmill and ditch a lot of this Year One gear I've been hoarding but not using. But still. I know some of you will be very upset.
The way this can work and be a positive is if Bungie gives us a slew of weapons and armor that are way cooler than anything we have currently. Let's see what happens. I agree that this makes me want to ease off on playing until TTK comes out... But that's in only one month, so let's goooooooo
