It was the same for the last batch of amiibos. The US online retailers had them up right away. In Canada they went up at random times weeks later with little or no warning.
Definitely scooping of the Mario Odyssey trio, Goomba, and Koopa. The Mario series is my favorite amiibo line and if I were to ever go on a purge those are the ones that are definitely staying in my collection.
Kinda want the Metroid 2-pack but I'm not a huge Metroid fan and they seem to be sold out anyway.
I never was terribly attached to the Champions, so not interested in those.
Ill probably get a goomba just because i like how it looks, but after the monster hunter world reveal for ps4, theres like zero chance im getting a switch to use my amiibo with, so much less reason to get many more of them. Especially since the ones ive wanted are fire emblem ones and i dont think i want the alm celica ones after playing the game, and the female corrin one is like a year late. maybe if they release the MH stories amiibo ill pick up some of those.

Holy shit the Smash Link amiibo goes for $60+ new on Amazon? Goddamn. I bought a spare about a year back because the one I bought at Smash's launch in 2014 had a bit of paint missing on the base. (Due to some glue seeping out.)

Nice. Grabbed the Skyward Sword amiibo since I don't have a good Link amiibo in my collection yet. Don't like the butter stand Link and don't like the pose on the TP Link. Don't care for the BotW Links because he doesn't have his traditional garb. Don't care for the Young or Toon Links. Don't care for 8 bit Link.
I think Skyward Sword Link was made just for me!
