Would anyone be interested in playing some games with a noob this weekend? I kind of want to learn Raynor and/or Muradin in quick matches at some point.

There should be peeps on to play with... (I might finally get on for a few today/tomorrow even!)
new endgame: trolling people on the official forums who claim they lose because 'we had more people with under 200 games on our team"
200 games is a pretty small number..
and yet that's more than I have played
I'm not even saying people at <200 games suck, but there is a correlation between game awareness, hero knowledge (your own and how to counter the other) and number of games played.
I'm only at 850 or so myself, buy a few friends of mine are around 2000-3000 games played, and while they don't necessarily play better than me all the time, I do notice that they generally know much more about the more minute things of the game- And those can add up and make an otherwise even game skew to your favour

It's not a direct enough correlation that you should make assumptions based on number of games played.
The only thing games played does is let a >50% win rate get your MMR higher cause that's really the only way to approach 3k
Man. Murloc Geniuses looked really good in both of those games. They made just a couple bad calls, and Tempo Storm was able to punish them for those mistakes. But I think Murloc Geniuses actually have the skill to beat them. They just need better shot calling.

That one play where they had a Devouring Maw into Ring of Frost was AMAZING. I thought for sure they'd win the game after that, but then they made a bad call to go Core. Should've focused on map control instead.
But yeah, MG keep getting better and better each time I see them play. They are rising up there, man.

Listening to the championships I was clearly wrong about Leoric falling, but was very right with Arthas coming back strong in double comp. he's everywhere in this tournament so far.
Supagoat and I just got a couple in.... I just get so sad losing 4 levels down to friendly team divemode pubs.
I don't care if I lose because we got outplayed. A close match resulting in a loss is fine... but losing repeatedly because 1 or 2 teammates just run facefirst into a meat grinder again and again and again is super depressing.
We're 4 levels down... you still can't solo the 3-5 of them that are there... just stop.... stoooop... stahp.... plz stahp...
Also with the Complexity game Rexxar with his ability to destroy bosses makes a lot of sense on Cursed Hallow. The bosses are so key to that map it gives you a really good early advantage.
Also dude, white sneakers with a suit? No. Just no.
you know I think thrall is fine. butcher is kind of overrated
Butcher might be overrated, but he's still better than Thrall. He has better engage and sticking power, better damage, and better surivability. The only area Thrall wins out is disengagement, since Butcher doesn't really have any.

Raynor is super legit now. He gives up engage/escape that Valla has but in exchange gets insane utility and lane push on top of doing absurd long range dps. Kind of tough to beat all that.

Abathur has lost every game he's been in since I have watched.
Seems weird to pick abathur into a really heavy melee engage comp that you'd want bodies to counter. Someone like Raynor would have done just terrible things to Butcher/Arthas/Leoric

split pushing then getting jumped by the entire enemy team
I'm not saying every hammer does that just that the core playstyle of the hero often pushes people in that direction
and yet that's more than I have played

Well at least in QM, the most one sided stomps we manage are usually against opponents of around 100-300 games.
I am almost exclusively playing this game, though, so it adds up I guess

It still has Duck Hunt.
could I ask for anything more
edit - I guess I'll also ask that this stormwatcher portrait thing works since I've had twitch on that channel all day even though I wasn't home
edit2 - complexity is using rexxar. leoric/raynor/malf/jaina/rexxar
I just walked in, don't know if or how they did a draft phase or hwat the order was
... the stutter stepping on raynor is kinda turning me on
Damn.

depends on the comps. thrall has a lot of utility with his lightning poke so he doesn't have to 100% all in every time he wants to do any damage.
CLOUD9 VS TEMPO STORM STARTS SOOON!!!!

Tempo Storm just looks unstoppable again.
