I'm trying to figure out the best builds for the moment. Right now my two strongest leaders seem to be Extreme STR Omega Shenron (Agent of the Apocalypse) and Super TEQ SS4 Gogeta (The Supreme Fusion), but I'm not sure who I should build for teams. I tried just tossing my best STR and TEQ characters on there but hey seem to suck.

I bought the first Elder Kai and got a Dokkaned, max SA Rilldo, a couple days ago and decided not to bother grinding for the second Kai. I'm currently grinding out a max SA Vegeta from the Baby event, then I'll grind out Hercule medals for those Kais.
Also, hooray for the Future Trunks Saga! I finally was able to Dokkan the PHY Future Trunks I got, like, two months ago.

And this Trunks level to get the medals is...rough. Need to spend at least two items to clear it, I think. The phase where he has type advantage plus a skill I can't disable (the Dismal Future link is on a bunch of SRs, the LR Zamasu and...the Trunks I have) I have to delay plus heal to full or die in one round.

When they say part 3 has a damage reduction passive, they are not fucking kidding. My AGL team was barely making a dent.

i did a YOLO pull which means I got a STR SSJ Trunks, which means I am awakening his path and am gonna use that SSJ trunks instead of the DOKKAN'd SSJ Gohan that is generally more recommended for STR teams cause he is tankier. WHOOPS.JPG

Lol they're skipping ahead and throwing UI Goku at Global, undoubtedly because A.) LR Vegito Blue is on the way and B.) probably new UI scenes coming up in the anime, so maybe a simultaneous dokkan-fest. I don't have a high opinion of UI Goku, though. Who knows what he'll look like when he dokkans, but unless he picks up some better links he's going to be like Ultimate Gohan and float on his own team.
SSJ3 Bardock is looking like the best category lead so far (Ultimate Gohan for mega whales), but Kefla still needs her dokkan.

This is how I feel about my Mono AGL team.
It's just so ludicrous that it's nearly as good against TEQ enemies as any other team I could possibly make.
I'd like to eventually have a use for all the other rad units I pulled, but if they ain't AGL they kinda don't matter right now. An SSJ4 Goku would honestly probably do a lot to help buff my rainbow Super team.
1.) FP Frieza is very very good
2.) Agl Goku is very very good
3.) Broly is next up for EZA, and might end up good but probably not
4.) Cell will probably end up strong on paper but maybe not on actual teams?
5.) If you have a unit with two dupes consider picking a different guy. Definitely pick another guy if you have three dupes. The marginal benefit from additional dupes goes down super fast, and the last dupe is almost completely worthless unless it's also a tank unit.
I must have bought Ultimate Gohan with this last time. But it seems like he's the first person I will be rotating out of my INT team if I pull Gogeta or something else better. It's him or INT Vegito, I guess? So it seems like there's no point in buying a dupe since I haven't even spent any potential points on him yet.
Are the Freiza and Goku good enough to be a blind purchase for a possible later team? I'm not sure if I have any AGL or PHY stuff good enough to start a new team.

OG Broly is pretty dependent on his EZA as to whether he'll have any use or not. As he is he's outclassed by a free Raditz that Japan got a while back. If you pair him up with Baba Shop Dabura (and you can also use Dabura as lead) he generates a minimum of 265k attack and 11 ki in tournaments. When Dabura's passive procs he goes up to 310k. That doesn't take into account crits and attack again.
EDIT - Not saying don't pick him up, though. Goku got a great boost in his EZA and Broly is on deck, so he may end up pretty nice. It's just a small gamble.
Well, taking a look, I actually have some okay AGI options. SSJ4 Vegeta, SSGSS Goku, SSJ2 Gohan are top tier, if I wanted to pick up the SSJ3 Goku with the stone, and then I have SSJ Gohan and Goten to fill out the team. For PHY I don't really have a great leader, but I've got Goku Black, Omega Shenron, Syn Shenron and could get Freiza, with Broly and Kid Buu to fill the other slots.
I've actually almost got a Shadow Dragon team with Omega, Syn, SSJ4 Gogeta, SSJ4 Vegeta but then nothing. Extreme is also an option, with Goku Black Rose, Omega, Fusion Zamasu, Super Hellfighter #17...and, I don't know, Goku Black?
But I could just buy Broly and make a better World Tournament team! Then I could make that Piccolo to fill out my INT team if he's better than Ultimate Gohan or Vegeto...?
One thing I will say is that if you have at least the main 4 units of a team (the guys you keep on rotations), you have around 80% of the team's damage potential. That number can vary depending on how deep the bench is with hitters, but Shadow Dragons drops off after Omega, Vegeta and Gogeta. In your case, your Shadow Dragon team has the main 5 units and with only the free dupe system filled out and Saibamen in the other 2 spots that team still does over 2.5 million damage a turn. Don't underestimate what you have there.
EDIT - Oh dang, I forgot SSJ GT Trunks was on that team. Dude gets around.
Oh, apparently I have that Trunks, too. So it's just the last slot that will have to be filled by this SR Goku until another Shadow Dragon unit appears. Too bad I can't use both of these Syn Shenrons at the same time.
I've tried to do the Omega Dokkan event and gotten annihilated, though. So I'm not really excited about that. Maybe I'll do better once I've got INT Trunks Dokkaned.

I'm out of stones now, though. Hopefully they give a big chunk away on Christmas. Otherwise it might be time to farm through story mode picking up all the strays.
