Generally only characters that have a max level of 120 and up will be useful in a serious team. At a glance the Goku/Frieza is probably strong enough to carry you through easier Dokkan challenges with the LR as your friend helper. Try a TEQ team?
Can you sort by their lead category and see what sort of team you could make with them? Then use TEQ team to work towards that. Mighty Mask or Kefla lead (with Goku/Vegeta LR friend) are options too.

Was. It expecting LR Cell to drop already, turns out LR Goku & Frieza was the real trap banner. All my pulls have been unsuccessful so far.
That change where it shows you what characters have dupes is super helpful though. Now if only I could reverse people from the hidden potential screen similar to the training/awakening change we haven’t gotten yet.

The only one that's Freiza-related right now is the "Summit of the Universe" LR farm one that recurs every weekend. And I'm waiting on that until we get the actual farming event that introduces an extra stage and increases drop rates for every Ginyu Force member on your team.

Well, got LR Frieza all done. Pulled Jiren, so I guess I'll work on him next.
I have no idea how to do Virtual Dokkan. I can only make 2-3 good teams before I start doubling up on team members and leaving holes I have to fill with less powerful replacements.
Yeah I still don't get this new mode. I made the best PHY team I could and took one bar off the INT Bojack. This mode doesn't really make sense with their new focus on category teams, which are almost useless here unless you managed to pull two leads from the same category.

Even with all my units I can only get as far as beating the first enemy of Stage 3
It's pretty tough and seems to encourage having multiple optimal color leads. Which is rough, because you can only use each team once, and some units overlap with other teams,

And, continuing the trend, it's easier to clear his Dokkan event with Potara than with Shadow Dragons, the team that actually gets bonuses and buffs in the fight. Sigh.
They just rolled out an update that gives you rewards every 10-20 ranks or so. When I logged in I completed 30 missions. So, everyone should probably log in and collect their piles of Kais, stones, medals and training mats.

Might want to double check the gift box, even after doing Accept All like 10 times there was still more stuff I had to manually collect. Accept All just broke because too much stuff was crammed in there.

Part of it is that it only skims the top 30 at a time, which also means that if you get clogged up with Bubbles and Gero medals you can stop collecting.
EDIT - The new Black super attacks are pretty.....pretty good.
Swapping between sorting by oldest and latest also helped. If there was a way to sort by type that would've fixed it, too.

The INT Ultimate Gohan EZA is out. I was...a little worried about this one, because I did not have the PHY Super Vegito that is...I think the only Majin Buu Saga leader right now?
Thankfully, the free LR Great Saiyaman 1 & 2 is stupidly good for this event. They Frequently do around 1 million damage (or 2 million if their second super attack procs, which it fairly often will), and they're an extremely good tank. Even at Level 30, Gohan's super couldn't even break, like, 40k damage against them. If my Super Saiyan Gohan defense buffer was up, they could reduce the super to around 20k.
So, rejoice if you have Int Janemba, because he got a really good EZA. He's easily better than his Str counterpart, and probably top 5 in damage mitigation.

Took Super Vegito as friend leader, of course. PHY LR Goku & Vegeta were shockingly fragile by the end and were mostly there for their leader skill.

Working on the Gohan EZA as well, I've got Vegito but haven't finished the Saiyaman LR yet. So. I'm not doing too great so far.
