Well if you're only going to get one of the two new units, getting the LR is definitely the preferred way to go. After all you can get INT Toppo on any future banner, while Jiren will not be available on Dokkan Festival banners.

The EZA for Prime Battle Frieza is coming soon, hope everybody is prepared. He's an excellent unit and even better than the EZA Prime Battle Goku is from what I hear.

Got Jiren, ended up buying STR UI Goku with gold coins. Universe Survival might be one of my most stacked teams once I finish getting both up to LR status. TEQ Goku Frieza, AGL Kale Caulifla, TEQ FP Jiren, STR UI Goku, STR Jiren, TEQ 18, etc. Though that's if they all play nice together with links

My original plan was to grab UI Goku with the coins if I got Jiren, but the step banner saved me the trouble

Defining "best" anything in this game is tricky. EZA Toppo is very good for sure, but is he definitely better than INT Demon Goddess Towa? Is he better than STR Cooler? What about TEQ Supreme Kai of Time or INT Metal Cooler or STR SSJ Gohan (Teen)? It all depends on how much you value ki support vs ATK support vs DEF support vs sealing vs stunning vs damage reduction vs damage output of the support unit vs orb changing and all the other things support units can do, in addition to which teams of yours they fit on.

Now if you want to say EZA Toppo is your favorite support he's definitely a good choice. He gives a good boost (his ki support could be better) and links solidly with several of his teams. He also has a decent selection of categories which is helpful. His leader skill isn't useful, though only a few support units have a useful leader skill so that's not really a knock on him. Definitely one of the better EZA buffs.

I can't believe they finally stopped teasing us with the two extra support item slots and changed the display. No idea what the new film support moments will do, but they have to be better than literally nothing.

The support memories are a special thing that automatically activates when a certain condition is met. I believe the first time they become available is during the anniversary celebration in a few weeks.

Seems they use a limited resource to activate though, so I'll probably leave 'em off until I start up hard content.

Also discounts on a Legendary banner, that's new.

Yes the support memories are as limited as any other support item. In fact I'd say they are even more limited. Definitely don't just use them willy nilly.

-edit- Also each one has a different effect and activation condition. Some require only that a number of turns have elapsed, others that you are below certain health, things like that. Once the condition is met they automatically trigger, so it is possible for them to activate at a time when they do you little good.

Did the discount Legendary summons. Came out of it with dupes of LR Baby Vegeta and LR K&C, plus a new copy of LR Turles Army. Never been that lucky on a Legendary banner.

Also I was wrong about how often you're able to use the support memories, with the absurdly low cap for fuel for them.

UI Goku and Royal Blue Vegeta get. Didn't need to go past the discounted summons so I'm very happy to resume saving my stones.

Did the discounted summons on both banners and didn’t have that luck but I did get three LR SSJ4 Vegeta, on three consecutive summons which was weird.

Two more summons to get Royal Blue Vegeta.

Geez, befitting the ultra instinct name I had to blow like 1000 stones on him and even then I didn’t get him until I started using my tickets.

Very first pull on the Goku banner got me UI Goku, woo

EDIT: Vegeta was less cooperative, but thanks to using almost no stones on the Goku banner, I managed a few extra pulls on his and got him too

Now I just need to wait until I am totally finished pulling on these banners, and then go grab STR Super Vegito from the shop

EDIT 2: I also now have a rainbow INT Cell to go with my rainbow AGL Gohan

Just barely had enough to do the full pass on each banner, wound up with one of each new LR. Also my first copies of a couple of other LRs, plus a few dupes of other LRs and some of the new URs as well. Can't ask for much more than that!

But I did finish out the discounted pulls on the Goku banner for the hell of it, got a dupe UI Goku, and then got my final SS4 Goku on the tickets afterward

Had a couple hundred stones so I threw them into Goku banner then used tickets. I did say I'd save but then I figured now's the time to go broke then build back up just because of pure value on pulls.

Anyway, final tally for me is: LR AGL UI Goku x2, LR INT RB Vegeta x2, LR Buutenks x2, LR SS4 Goku x2 (Rainbowed+1), LR SS Gohan (already Rainbow from last year), LR INT Cell, and 1x Gohan+Piccolo. Then a couple good pickups like Trunks+Goten GT, SS2 Goku Angel, and PHY Beerus. Strangely the only unit I didn't get at least one of on the banner was INT UI Goku, but the rest of the haul was more than good enough to justify zeroing out my stones.

The downside now is farming out all those medals and cleaning up my box after that session.

Sounds like people had some nice results, you love to see it. I spent 1270 of my saved up stones, leaving me with 1650, but I ended up getting 11 LRs (including 1 of each new LR) and the new Gohan & Frieza unit. None of the LRs were wasted, and LR AGL Gohan and LR SSJ4 Goku are now rainbowed. Got some useful dupes for many of the other featured units as well, and a few dupes of older units that turned into coins, and the only new unfeatured unit was Thouser which is nice to have but would have preferred a TEQ Raditz or INT Kibito Kai instead.

Overall I am pleased, even if I didn't hit the heights of absurd luck I have seen some others hit. Congrats to everybody that saw success!

Yeah I'm pretty sure I have the whole Beerus collection, I'd just need to get the medals to Dokkan them.

Also, side note for people doing the UI Goku Dokkan event. Remember that Stage 3 when he uses the Spirit Bomb move, if he's attacking before your first slot be sure to use a Ghost Usher item or you will die instantly. I forgot this and lost a Boosted run I was otherwise sweeping.

Yeah that stage is more annoying than the new one because the new one doesn't have the dumb spirit bomb that can RNG force you to use an item (or dodge with Caulifla, I guess)

EDIT: Toppo can also be better than West Kai in some situations where his defense debuff works

There are several good support units that can be used in place of SKoT if you don't happen to have her. Obviously Toppo can work (though his ki support is minimal unfortunately), but don't overlook Gowasu & Zamasu (no attack support but monstrous defensive support and solid ki support) or the WT reward STR SSJ2 Great Saiyaman (he is on Exploding Rage and gives Super class allies Ki +2 and ATK & DEF +30%) or STR Fat Buu (also on Exploding Rage and can feed STR orbs to your LR Beerus & Whis). Plenty of ways to make a very fun team with a PHY Beerus lead.

So, is there a trick to beating these ridiculously tough fights against the various Whis-level angels? They do like 75k per hit to a guarding LR with like 100k defense.

You mean the Gods of Destruction event? Yeah they've all got tricks to them, but they also hit like trucks because it's the current hardest content in the game

There are a few tricks that are useful. Obviously the intent is to give people a reason to chase after the new units with the revival mechanic (and we do get one for free once the new Roshi is complete). Mostly you just want to take units that are very strong defensively, and TEQ Caulifla will 100% dodge every attack sent her way because the enemies are all Universal Survival Saga category. For the one item you are allowed, it is generally recommended to take either Whis or Android 8.

The fights are definitely tough, but possible to beat even without any of the celebration units. I can get some known workable lineups from people that have completed stages if people are interested.

Ah, I thought they were just the usual weird one-time-only event missions that you just have to look up a strat for to get your free goodies. Didn't know it was just hard to give those people something to do. I'll continue ignoring it along with ESBR I guess.

There is also no rush to complete them, while you only get limited attempts per day they are permanently available going forward.

Do they even give anything at the moment? I know SBR has the currency and F2P LRs but all I've heard about the Destruction Gods event is some stones

I believe that completing all the stages completes another support memory, giving a stat boost to all Universal Survival Saga team members.

I do appreciate it only uses 70 films vs 100 like the others, but a cap of 200 and drop rate of maybe 5 per run means it's gonna be an annoyance.
