When I go to the gym, I listen exclusively to west coast gangsta rap circa 1985-2005. I do this because it is good, and because I preferred it to dirty south hip hop, and because I came up surrounded by it.
Usually it's great for the gym because it's about how much of a badass the artist is. Today though, nearly every track was about recovering from real shit, bad experiences, death, loss. About needing friends, being thankful, and mourning those who didn't make it out.
Left me wishing for chat bros to live in the city so we could go get a drink and talk about stuff.
So I am watching the animu Gate. Aka Japan invades WoW.
And it is kind of interesting how it portrays the SDF. Like this is really something new in a lot of ways. Also the fact the SDF is being used for what cannot be described in any way as a defensive action.
Also the fact it states the SDF has limited resources and supply lines which is really true.
