Special "losing my insurance" birthday giveaways! Meant to make these earlier and end it earlier, but I got sidetracked this week. You know, seeing the doctor while I still can, doing some odd jobs, etc.

Today is my actual b-day, and I went to a Party City yesterday to buy some cone hats, some kazoos, and a pump for balloons. Not for a party or anything, I just had some balloons lying around I've been meaning to inflate. As for the kazoos and hats,
Some little girl was really upset her mom wouldn't let her get the Power Rangers napkins cause they were "for boys". I got kinda bummed out over that.
Also, it seems impossible to just get regular party hats anymore. Everything is branded, and it's all fucking Minions or stuff that has nothing to do with parties. Animals, pirates, etc.
I've got somewhat over a year until 40, but I feel like I'm ahead of schedule and things have decided to start falling apart now.
Have been dabbling a bit outside of Steam apart from TF2 lately. Partaking in some Bayonetta 2. Will probably finish that up tonight.
Maybe I'll have a TellTale weekend and catch up on Game of Thrones and Borderlands.

Yeah, I didn't have you on my list (yet). I had to go off an old forum post dated Oct 18 where you mentioned a friend giving you something for your birthday but it wasn't clear if it was that day or a bit before.
So, been playing a lot of magic duels. Anyone playing that? I think the game is pretty good. The story is challenging to me, learning a new deck for each situation. They also don't give you much to go off, so they are fun and it feels good when you do beat one. On this, anyone from here playing? I bet it might make a fun get together / tournament with some decks. It is F2P, so anyone can get in on it.
I'm also playing on the PA Ark server, that is fun. If you don't have ark, I think the devs are doing a great job on adding content. If I look at were I started, and were the content is now, it is just so much more.
One last thing, Mrs. Alure texted me this:
"Luke just said dad and very clearly a couple times."
My almost 6th month old's first word was dad. . . Now I need to get him a steam account right? Hum, wonder if I can get him to say steam next. . . Although I told her I would try for mom.
