It's an Italian word, so, [kalˈtsoːne]. I figured with all the Americans of Italian descent they'd use that pronunciation.

It's an appropriated word. Most people also say marinara with short a sounds instead of mahr-ee-narh-uh like a real Italian person would say it.
Also, don't go to Italy and order pasta marinara unless you want a bunch of seafood in your spaghetti. No idea how we bastardized it so hard to only mean "red sauce" but we did.
Calzones tend to be pizza dough with cheese and toppings folded into a pouch before baking. Stromboli tends to be dough with cheese, toppings, and sometimes sauce rolled into a loaf like shape before baking. It's more or less a personal preference thing.

This off topic discussion feels incredibly appropriate for a thread about Giant Bomb.
I was just saying...I remember the Just Cause people brought a demo over to play or show off or something. It would be cool if it was Tim doing that kind of stuff.
He also played through MML2 and RE:CVX with a Capcom guy right there for the whole playthrough making jokes and telling stories, so I assume stuff like that is fine as well? Neither were really to promote anything, just a joint community thing. The guy on during MML2 was even talking shit about Capcom dropping MML3 since it had just happened then.

GB has brought in devs, etc. before; they call them a QuickLook EX.
you can use iTunes to subscribe directly to the GB RSS feed for podcasts, do not subscribe to GB through iTunes itself, it is not controlled by GB and is super weird
i use overcast. it's pretty good, and uses the RSS feeds from giantbomb. and autodownloads my podcasts right when they come out, which is nice since i forget all the time.
The PC version will be getting an online version "extremely soon" in a beta branch on Steam. Now that the game is out they're basically working on the online multiplayer component and don't want to delay or risk breaking the base game in the process.

I've been using the iTunes feed for years without any real issues, but then again I'm usually two podcasts behind anyway and don't notice if they don't show up right away.
I really enjoyed watching them play Dracula X: Rondo of Blood today. I had to leave for work before they were done, unfortunately, but it was nice to see them genuinely enjoy the game since it was their first experience with it.
I use Pocket Casts - the real thing I like is that it syncs between my phone/computer so I can listen in the car on the way to work and then pull up the same podcast and be in almost exactly the same spot. It's the only way I really manage to get through podcasts at all.
