Does Brad (or NL or Patrick or whoever) have to be good at every game, especially while streaming, in order to write/talk about them? Maybe some people are better at some games than others? I'm terrible at RTS/MOBA games. Big whoop.

Didn't Brad mention during the Bombcast (or was it during that Tim Turi UPF) how much easier it was to be a Copilot during QLs instead of being in the driver's seat? I mean, I figure that trying to keep an engaging script/conversation while playing definitely detracts from noticing details while playing a game.

People don't watch LPers because they want to see high level play, that's like watching sitcoms to see Shakespearean acting.

I don't need or want people to be the absolute best at every game they play. It's watching a longer-running series and seeing him not learn anything that kills it for me. Though I am, admittedly, watching the longer-running series so he's doing something right.

Some of it is probably a bit of jealousy, too. Man took an EXO suit with a standard rocket to the final battle in XCOM 2, ignored obvious flanks on big enemies, and somehow made it out alive.

Also the first 3 MGS games are kinda a mess to control. Especially when you have to play them in fits and starts like Drew has to and you forget the bizarre control scheme between play sessions.

Apparently it's a class issue- any non-Knight class will crash the game when you hit the bonfire.

I joined today. Only in the first arena, but I've pretty much beaten anyone I've played so far because the epic knight they gave me seems super overpowered.

I find it hard to really get into though, since I'm waiting 3 hours in between games waiting for chest unlocks.

Well, I finally switched to the premium podcast feeds. Their ads were amusing at first, but I'm definitely tired of them now. I think I actually got sick of them at least 6 months ago, but I didn't realize it until now. If there are any amusing ones that pop up, I'm sure people will talk about it/put up a youtube video.

I used the office Vive for a few hours and it's pretty cool but now the nosebridge is bent so light leaks in and the whole thing is worthless.

My worry with VR is that it won't be comfortable for more then like 30 mins with my glasses, as things that press them into my nose or temples make it hurt after about that much time.

And while my eyesight isn't that bad I do have one nearsighted and one farsighted eye with astigmatism in both, so I'm not sure that system based lens/software correction would be able to help.

Guess I'll just have to hope that one of the companies do some sort of booth mall tour thing.

I still listen to the normal Beastcast because Vinny, but have been listening the the premium Bombcast for a few years.

The worst offender for adds of the podcasts I listen to is The Smoking Tire. It'll have 5-8 minutes of adds in the middle of the podcast.

I think the trigger for me today was actually the ads in the middle of the Beastcast from March 18th (I'm always behind). It was two ads in a row. Even with Vinny, it was too much.

The worst for me is actually MBMBaM at this point

It's like half that podcast is dedicated to people who gave them money at some point or promoting something else they or their network are doing, it's kinda rough and at some point I think they need to cut that shit down
