Man, PC Destiny would be awesome. Anyways the spoilercasts aren't Premium so don't worry about it. I wonder if any GBEast fellows will join in? Maybe Austin did beat it in time?
I wish MS put their PC gaming money where their mouth is and gave us the Master Chief Collection on the PC. No fucks given about wonky multiplayer, I just want the tens of hours of SP content.
A lot of high profile games will be Win 10 exclusive soonish. It's the DX12 compatible OS. That's not too surprising. I am hopeful but really skeptical. Hell Halo on PC makes sense but they'll still not do it. Maybe long after Halo 5 gets all the last xbone stragglers.

I mean, they're trying to move a console. It's in their best interests to not release those things for PC if the money they make from broadening the install base of their console is greater than the extra sales from PC.
I'm sure there is a man locked in a room at redmond with a graph, and when line 1 crosses line 2, it happens. But line 1 has yet to cross line 2.
If Dan's stink bombs were butyric acid based, then he's probably caused tens of thousands dollars worth of property damage, as well as some hefty losses due to interrupting daily operations. You don't get that kind of stink out of wooden floorboards ever, so that needed to be replaced.
Hope he gets sued over this shit! Made me a little mad with his nonchalant confession, and how he got away with it. That's the kind of shit you should get caught doing, and then have to answer to a fistful of justice, as well as night in jail, and then foot the bill for the repairs, and then work for free for a month, to make up for the losses.
Hey, a place where I can rant about Dan. That's nice!

You can't buy butyric acid stink bombs (anymore) so I doubt that. Modern ones are just ammonium.
Also I'm pretty sure that happened like 10 years ago.

I know that was 10 years ago. Is it wrong that I want some justice though? A karmic roundabout a decade in the making? Hopefully one of the wronged bar owners is a bombcast listener, and a certified tough guy, and goes and kicks Dan in the nuts with gusto, and then fart in his mouth with righteous indignation. Now that's a follow-up story I'd love to hear on a Bombcast. Dan's comeuppance!

uh
are you this certified tough guy, cause you certainly seem like you have an axe to grind for this dumb thing a dumb guy did 10 dumb years ago
I mean, yeah it's kind of shitty how Dan sees looks at it wistfully as a goofy thing he did in his youth rather than going "Oh yeah, that was a completely unacceptable and shitty thing I did."
I mean, Jeff has done some really shitty things in his youth, like the story about him and Ryan picking up a free computer out in front of someone's house, beating it with a bat when it took longer than a second to turn on, pissing on it and then dumping it back in front of the house they got it from in the first place.

Except he has said he realizes it was a shitty thing he did.

Not really? He talks about it like it was a playful prank in his youth (likened to ripping a really bad fart in public) rather than being a shitty thing only a completely self-absorbed asshole would do. It's a difference of opinion, sure, but it's a bummer than Dan, being an otherwise positive and friendly guy, isn't a bit more repentant about this really shitty thing he did in his youth.
After a certain age you begin treating your non-life-wrecking actions from more than X years in the past as "some other idiot". I've enough shit to keep me up at night without also caring about stuff I did literally half a lifetime ago.
Poor Drew, having to man the UPF where Brad plays MGS5 and is already accidentally spoiling stuff.
While Brad is a rad dude, the attitude he tends to have toward spoilers can be pretty infuriating.
Especially when you know someone you're working with wants to play the game very badly, but has to stream it on a schedule for your website so can't play it at the pace he wants.
Bombcast. Long and the short of it is that he wanted a beer and the bar was crowded so he bought stink bombs off the internet and just threw them on the floor of the bar, waited for the smell to overwhelm the douchey (in his opinion) patrons, and then ordered a beer.

in fairness i would actually argue that north america has made tips something bizarre and insane
like someone tells you "oh you tip someone for giving you service" and it's never appended "but also you just have to tip anyway because we've culturally made it mandatory and garnished wages dramatically to make sure we keep the working man down"
I don't think the problem was Dan didn't understand how tips work. It was more a confusion over what situations require tips. Which like gnome just said, is kind of a bigger cultural issue.

Granted, it's not like they can sucker this environment to pay a monthly fee for basic functionality...

I'm not sure he realizes how shitty. Like yeah it's a funny story but he did cost that bar some serious money.
I'm still not sure if I'm actually interested in playing Persona 5 but that new trailer has style.
All I know of Persona is what I've seen Giant Bomb play. Still haven't watched the entire endurance run.

To be fair, I haven't seen the segment in question yet. I have seen Brad do that sort of thing a whole bunch of times in videos and podcasts though.
It was a joke. It was a mission he'd already played. Dan said that.

Never actually watched the entire Persona 4 endurance run.
Just finished episode 8. In it for real this time.

IIRC, he said he did this multiple times.
Not to mention him not understanding how tips work. He probably really fucked over a few bartenders.
