    The only good thing to come out of the duck journal update was the voice line for Merasmus yelling "bonus ducks!".

    Congratulations Crash! Real glad you got a map in game.

    Can't say I'm super pumped about the rest of the update, or spending money to get crates that you have to spend more money to open apparently becoming the norm, but oh well.

    I'll grab my ticket tomorrow.

    Are those actual new weapons or reskins?

    I just assumed they were reskins but it would be real weird for the C.A.P.P.E.R. and the Shooting Star to fire bullets.

    The halloween map is actually just wubwub with the ghosts that go boo and Spooky Scary Skeletons playing every track change.

    I was pretty burned out on the whole contracts thing and wasn't really looking forward to another one. This pass not having contracts and only being $2 means I'll definitely pitch in.

    ah there ARE contracts, it just doesn't mention them on the update page

    I think I expected something different with this update.. not sure why, not sure what
    Happy the pass is 100% going to the content creators, but it feels exactly like the duck journal
    Either way, new content, and attention is still being paid to this game, so I'm happy

    seems the Shooting Star is a Machina reskin

    and I think the Giger Counter is an Alien motion detector-themed wrangler

    Yeah, machina shots will look a lot less weird coming out of that gun.

    Something interesting that wasn't directly mentioned (but was in the patch notes) was that the old Gunmettle cases are now going to show up as regular drops in the game instead of just from contracts. So I'm going to assume the Invasion cases will as well once the event ends, so the Invasion team will still be seeing revenue from key purchases in the future.

    Also, I really wish it was doublecross_invasion instead of teufort.

    Also did anyone else notice Crash on the loading screen for teufort_invasion?

    I did the logic for all the exploding aliens on that map. The other guy placed them, but I gave him an army of them to drag where ever he needed.
