I don't remember having specific trouble with Goetia, weirdly enough; I think my team took her down before she could do anything too janky?
Back off from her when she activates her electrical aura, though, I think it hurts you when you're right next to her
And again: worst case, just go ahead and take the "knock down the boss's level by five" option when and if it comes up
Also you could get past those gators by hugging the right wall as you come out of the water, their vision cone is so narrow you can crawl right over the one on the right and not get spotted
Edit: And I know you don't need to be told this, but just in case: remember that part of exploring is to kill a little bit of everything you come across, if you can. It'll keep your levels up enough that fights like this boss are way easier, assuming you're at their level or slightly above. Noctilum and Oblivia have some great opportunities for early leveling without real grinding.
