Well when the hawks open up 0-9 and the bills win the superbowl behind a resurgent EJ Manuel...

To go 0-9 the Hawks would have to lose to the Bears. Pistols at dawn, sir.

Wow cobb might be hurt for the packers? Wow.

Yes. Came up with a limp right arm and went to the locker room.

    This fucking preseason...

Hyde has a neck injury now, too. I seriously hate the entire concept of the preseason.

    No. No he won't.
'If you want to run the read option with your starting quarterback that’s had two knee surgeries, that’s on you.'

They would literally be better off starting St. Tim.

    Uh, okay.

I mean, assume injury all you want but if he does remain healthy, Bradford will easily be a top-10 QB with the personnel around him.

And there's literally no team in the NFL that should be starting St. Tim at the moment. No, not even Buffalo.

Eagles offense, and Bradford in particular, looked incredible against the Green Bay defensive starters. If that knee holds up Bradford will have a top 5 QB season

remember what kelly did with foles for a few games?

i'm not saying long term success, but fantasy wise, bradford could be a great sleeper if he stays healthy

and if not brady will continue to be amazing anyways

Is this where I say I'm keeping these posts for posterity? Because all these ifs about Bradford's health is a bit like saying 'Glass Joe could be champ if only his opponents stopped punching him.'

I'm sure nothing bad could go wrong, though. Even though Kelly has yet to have his Game 1 QB make it though the season with out sustaining an injury. Bradford will be fine.

I'm not disagreeing that Bradford is an injury risk but a) so is every quarterback and b) to suggest that Tebow should be starting ahead of Sanchez, let alone Bradford is idiotic.

And there's your problem. I didn't say 'should'. I said given the choice between a sketchy Bradford and an offense that will expose him to contact on most plays, they'd be better off starting somebody who doesn't have bad knees. Especially one who ran spread option throughout college.

But, hey. Believe what you want. lolsports

I think if you're the Eagles and you want to make a run, you kinda have to start Bradford and roll the dice with his health. Yeah, it might not pay off and he might get injured again, but if you go with Tebow, you're admitting defeat before you've even started. Won't win anything with him as the starter.

I'll agree with the last bit, anyway.

    ps Tebow is terrible

Bradford ran a spread in college too, btw.

If Bradford goes down you've already seen that you can scratch your way to 10-6 with Sanchez, a solid running game and even an average defense. I can live with that as a plan B, but you have to at least take a shot at being something better than that.

Archer is a camp arm who's only playing because T-Jack got himself hurt. The OL is what worries me. Lynch or not, being unable to hold off the pass rush on a three step drop is not a thing you can work around. It's time to start crossing off prospects that flat out can't pass protect, guys. Holy shit.

Also, how has Christine Michael not been cut yet? God damn he's terrible.

I'm happy that John Pagano is calling for some more aggression than he was last year. Hopefully he doesn't go back to his old timid ways once the regular season starts, it's kind of nice watching a Chargers defense that actually, you know, does things.

Wasn't terribly impressed with Gordon but I'll chalk most of that up to rookie jitters and a line that was sitting its best player and shuffling around the other starters.

The Brady/Bradford handcuff kinda makes sense, since you really just need 4 weeks before Sam goes cadaver hunting again.

He might be fine that long!

If we did I drafted zero players. Which might end up a more successful strategy than last season

Cool, I logged in and it showed me last year's roster which I apparently didn't recognize as my own.
