    i have never played a metal gear game in my life that wasn't on the NES, but for some reason am entirely too up to date on the plot, should i buy this?

    edit: i own ground zeroes i should probably play that. that might help decide.

    Ground zeroes isn't a full game. It's basically Metal Gear Solid V: Prologue

    Also the word solid has never actually referred to solid snake

    It actually refers to the fact that the game is made of three dimensional "solid" objects as opposed to the two dimensional sprites of the old MSX metal gears

    yeah i got it that way at first

    it's fine, but the subsistence camera is objectively better

    mostly the set camera makes it feel more like

    well, more like MGS2, just with leaves and bushes instead of metal corridors
