I'd say not at all. The main reason to pvp is to get Crucible marks and Iron Banner gear. You can use Vanguard marks to get vanguard gear (just have less choice in stat distribution) and IB Gear is just one set of high level gear.
Oh, and crucible marks are going away in 15 days, so you won't have to worry about that.
Depending on how long it is, that's pretty standard for MMOs anyway.
iirc the wow expansion first raid didn't release until slightly under a month after the xpac dropped. November 8th dropped the xpac, December 2nd the raid. AND it was an undersized raid too, to tide people over for the second one released a couple of months later. (though, in my opinion, it was much better than the second one, even while being undersized)
Raids getting pushed till a bit after release is normal. Assuming it isn't very far pushed.

Is the gun feeding thing applying to year one weapons as well?
He is now owed the restoration of his founder's share of stock in the company, around $100k in unpaid wages, and nearly $150k in profit sharing for work on Destiny last year before his firing

Really interesting to read how that relationship broke down. Gives at least a litle bit of insight into how working with Activision has changed Bungie
The Bungie official Armory has updated with most, though not all, of the weapons/armor from TTK, including the exotics.
Most of the exotics are really really interesting and cool looking.
The legendaries are nearly all randomized and the perk pool they choose from terminally boring. Hoping for more from the raid, which isn't listed yet in the Armory.

@hoodiethirteen
Its unlocking some time after so people have a chance to level up their characters

The first raid didn't unlock immediately either, it lets more people go in blind without the whole thing being picked apart already
This article is either poorly informed or very disingenuous

I would love to keep my Lord High Fixer still.
Nightfall is Valus
Ugh
It does not. Just for Year 2 guns (to upgrade and use as food). So if you have a bunch of Y1 legendaries, it doesn't even help.
Steam
During the stream they actually made a point of saying it's from q quest, not any kind of RNG
I don't want it to consume me again.

I like this pattern
They should do a trailer with Zeppelin for every major Destiny release
Agreeeeeeeee
https://youtu.be/9ZyQK6kUdWQ
The last Destiny release should use Kashmir
The mmo stuff is too much for me
Maybe I'll check back in later
I know Nathan Drake gets added, and the preview for the crucible maps is up. I also wanna say the new level system drops, but that I'm not sure of.
But since the new sub classes and levels don't drop who cares.
the rejiggered plot and such is also changing
it's basically all the content/changes announced for TTK except the entirely new stuff
and we're getting some of that as well, like the two new maps, and on wedensday the new gunsmith rep
it's a massive patch, I definitely plan to check it out

That's the only line I thought Dinklage did better than North
And even then, it's just a really bad line
