Last year I had the pleasure of running The Bad Man, a convention scenario for Don’t Rest Your Head roleplaying game.
Unfortunately, this year I didn't get the call for Omegathon : ( Which means I now have plenty of spare time to run some tabletop RPG.
Last year I received some interest from people wanting to play Eclipse Phase and I would like to extend the offer to run one of their published scenarios, either; Ego Hunter or The Devotees. From past experience both scenarios are best handled as two 3ish hour sessions, perhaps over two days.
Ego Hunter
The PCs are all beta forks of a single individual. In other words, you’re partial mind-clones with incomplete memories that have been “forked” from your original alpha personality in order to carry out some specific task. You return home expecting to be reintegrated with your primary personality… but instead you wake up, surprised to find that you've been re-sleeved into a new body. Your alpha is nowhere to be found, nothing makes any sense… and then people start getting murdered.
The Devotees
Unlike other published Eclipse Phase scenarios, in the Devotees PCs are assumed to all be active Sentinels, members of the clandestine organisation Firewall. Firewall aims to protect the remnants transhumanity from existential threats. The PCs will be sent straight into the heart of heart of Nine Lives, the most ruthless syndicate of soul thieves in the system and investigate a horrifying new psychosurgery technique that creates worshipful slaves. Written by Caleb Stokes, the Devotees is a spin-off adventure of Know Evil, an actual play Eclipse Phase campaign on RPPR.
