it feels weird to be saying this
but i think i would like demon's mirror a lot more if there were less fighting in it
the art is fantastic at this point, and it's got a basis for an interesting universe, but instead we just get a bunch of fairly inconsequential pg-13 fights (nobody dies, everything's a big misunderstanding, etc. the only thing to mention is gerda grabbing a demon arm)
If you see a service dog, avoid socializing with it at all costs, even if it's at rest, doesn't seem to be busy, or is with a trainer who doesn't seem to be relying on it for help. It's got a job to do, and doesn't need the distraction. Especially while it's still being trained.
Sorry, we now return you to your webcomics thread in progress.
Realizing lately that I don't really trust or respect basically any of the moderators here. So, good luck with life, friends! Hit me up on Twitter @DesertLeviathan

I talked to a service dog once and felt like the world's biggest asshole

I think the problem is that it seems hyper-compressed for a story of this kind. The travel times and the time hanging out in the city seem to be sped up so that it can get to the next fight scene. And considering there's several characters in the party we know almost nothing about, it's not like it couldn't slow down and explore that some.

Does anyone remember a diary comic where the female artist talks about being in love with her ex for like a decade, then one day she goes on a friend date with him and bursts out crying, only to have the date end in a proposal? I would like to read that comic again.

North World: Epic of Conrad ran as a webcomic in 2007-2008. The original webcomic site is now down, but the comic is available on the author's website. It has also been published by Oni Press as a paperback.
