Aaah, people who can't get a polite hint.... then they usually get on their high horses when the hint becomes, shall we say, more to the point (as in: STFU)
I think I'm going to try this for my books. There are some nice large geostones that I use for landscaping my yard. If I could split them evenly they would actually make nice bookends for my open ended bookshelves. Better than my current solution of using any heavy object I have around to support them.
Yep, that's what it's like, working in a library. I've given up on the polite hints and just moved to "please lower your voice, I can hear you up at the front desk." I'll be polite, but I am no longer giving hints. I can hear every part of your conversation and I. DON'T. WANT. TO.
I'm not sure if I'm alone here, but I wish that some of the kickstarter campers would actually cause some trouble/ be obnoxious/ be gross/ etc.
So far, all of the kickstarter campers have only played the roll of the voice of reason against some other camper's crazy antics. Maybe these characters can't be given the roll of a trouble-maker, because it would then be difficult and confusing to turn them into a one off character, where as being the voice of reason lends itself to the one off roll... I'm not sure if there's a good way to go about it, but I just would hate to see all of the kickstarter campers to essentially be the same interchangeable camper. Anyone else feel this way?

I think they just don't want us to get too attached to them. That mountain lion is still out there, just off panel, and he's hungry.
Seriously, it would be neat, but it's probably a lot of work to establish personality for someone who will likely never appear again. And by making them rather interchangeable if something did come up, they could easily replace them with a previously establish background camper without much fuss. At least that's my theory.
Edit: I just wanted to add that I didn't mean this in a critical way or anything. I sometimes worry that I say things that come across poorly without intending to.
Purdy's got some boots too! annnnd don't forget about Proto Kid, he potentially has more shoes than everyone combined!
P.S. I bet at some point we'll see a camp comic story line where either Malachai loses his shoes, and has to track them down, or possibly were a lot of the other campers are reunited with their long lost shoes. It'll be such a beautiful day!

Poor Malachi. Aa a fellow oblivious person, I question how many times I've done this. Malachi is just trying to be friendly.
New camper or just one I'm not familiar with? Kickstarter?
Yep, that's another Kickstarter camper!
Love it.

It's not just you. I ADORE Linus and I don't even know why.

Colin and the blond boy also have shoes.
