Unless they undid contracts, pretty sure Oosiks are already Loyalist with the permanent contract.

If what Adamski said is correct, I imagine PGI will reset every Unit's contracts, to allow them to re-up as they please.

Any word on timing? I'm traveling for this next week and a half (through Xmas), and although I have my laptop for such things, I'd hate for there to be a delay in paper pushing.

You could just give my rank paper pushing powers so I can take care of reupping as a loyalist when the time comes.

Ok, well, with the Steam release and all, I caved and reinstalled. I still hate the imbalance and I don't really ever expect it to change, but I'm stomping again.

Anyway, I'll just leave this here. I'm back.

I fitted out my ol' 4X during the last CW event before Tukayyid and found that in the less cornery/hill peeky nature of CW engagements it performs quite well if I don't take the front line until I'm getting low on ammunition. Glad I hung on to it as long as I did now.

Okay, either I hit a sweet spot with the Maurauders and their curren loadout, or there is so many newbies over steam... but I feel like Kerensky himself, cutting my way from Tier 5 to Tier 4 right now, leaving the burning carcasses of my enemies behind me...

Tier 4 is still a land of milk and honey for a pilot of your experience. Tier 5 is all "What is 'Mech?" where Tier 4 is "How I ''Mech?".

You'll cruise easily until you get into Tier 3, when you'll notice *actual* competence start to occur.

Yeah as someone who just started playing again, all I've really needed to go into Tier 4 is find my nearest assault mech, make him my buddy, hang out with him and engage whoever he is engaging. Pretty quick that snowballs into numerical superiority and that's the match.

I imagine eventually I'll have to think harder.

They started with a Cheetah rush, followed up with Small Pulse Laser Gargoyles. The Cheetah rush was not terribly effective, but the Gargoyles were pretty rough. Honestly, I think their 2 of their own cost them the game. The two birdies were running EBJ's.

So, the Grasshopper is pretty fun once you get it elited. I'm running 3x LPL + 5 MLAS on the version with the range/duration quirks. I can poke about as well as the LPL Thunderbolt, and also deathstar nerds for 58 pinpoint with a pretty short beam duration at ~340 meters.

I think this might be the strongest IS heavy right now, or at least one of the top contenders. They seem awfully rare in the queue, though.

Ok. Got on, got in, and got to editing.

Let's give a warm round of applause to your 2016 starting lineup of Oosik Master Draughstmen:
    @nonoffensive @Tigliss @Gnome-Interruptus @Stabbity Style

Congratulations! You have all now been drafted volunteered hand-picked to manage our contractual obligations in the event of my inability to do so! Enjoy this moment; you won't be prouder of any other accolades you receive today!

In addition, @Buttcleft , I've added Contract rights to your title of "High Priest of LUUUURM Temple".

On the Iron Oosiks side, @Erlkönig , you have been promoted to Oathmaster. Congratulations! May the six other Trueborn Warriors we have on the roster take note of your deeds.

So now the six of you can act in my stead. In the best case, you'll never have to deal with it. In the worst, I'm dead, and everything I've just typed came from beyond the grave.

My will is like the iron oosik itself: unwavering, rigid, and strong! And this is a fitting promotion, for there is no oath stronger than a Pinkie Promise...and I am a master of Pinkie Promises.

Awesome, now my professional paper pushing process prowess puts ppcs into play.

I don't know, seems a perfectly normal match of MWO in my experience.

The 2-2-2-6 of the enemy team (L/M/H/A) vs. the 4-2-6-0 on my team was a bit much for me to deal with.

That's mostly due to that premade Steam team taking all trial light sniper mechs.

Havent played in a while. Why do I suddenly have 2 each of the Centurion/Atlas/King Crab reward mechs?
