There are weapons with 80+ range that have amongst the lowest aim assist in the game
Likewise, there are guns with sub-20 range that have amongst the best aim assist in the game
Just as an easy example, Black Spindle has virtually nothing for aim assist, while Hereafter has a really high aim assist

I think that with the systems they've introduced where you can buy 3oC to get random exotic engrams, and essentially convert coins straight into faction rep, they needed to curb that coin income somewhat. I wouldn't be surprised to see them revisit it in a couple weeks after they see how many people are earning on average, and tweak it further.
Perhaps coins aren't intended to be an effectively unlimited resource. I can buy basically whatever I want from Xur, an item or two to break down, and still have a nice stockpile. This is plausibly their intended breakpoint instead of "lol I has everythings".

So I have 77 strange coins and a light level of 256 with no exotics yet, so I'm highly considering picking up Don't Touch me, if for nothing else than the light boost. Not sure if anything else other than some 3oC is worth it for my hunter though.

3oC are super useful, then you can run strikes with them popped and every 5th strike get a nice exotic drop.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

During the thunderdome phase people were dying outside the dome from instant kills and it would just say Misadventure as the cause. Turns out the thunderdome arena is directly below the area between the two platforms and when the shade comes out with his sword he can swing up through the ground and hit people not yet taken to the dome. Seems the easy fix for this is just standing on one of the pressure plates, since those are raised enough to avoid it. I finally saw what was happening because his sword dipped up through the ground and took off half my health while I was trying to kill thralls.
Just in case anyone else was encountering inexplicable deaths.
Is this just a drop from IB or is it something that may be sold in future events?
The last IB ship, "Birth of History", was drop only from IB games.
I got the Birth of History last night, was pretty stoked! For a filthy pubby casual, I've been pleased at how Iron Banner's been going so far. Almost to rank 4, weekly bounties done (except for rank 4 one), and a few games where I topped the charts! Although I'm still hoping to actually collect some IB titan gear, hopefully more will drop as my rank increases.
It is the only ship that I want.
The only reason that I kill in Iron Banner.

I spotted the sword poking through the floor last time we ran it, but it didn't occur to me that it could actually hurt anyone.
I think Thunderdome is under the forward part of that while area, so you should be safe if you stick between the tall platforms where the sisters hang out.

Iron Banner can be so frustrating yet so giving at the same time. Was playing this afternoon and after losing 6 in a row :bigfrown: decided I needed to go one more round. The sixth lose was pretty close and only one or two dropped out for the next round.
Last game of the afternoon was a joy. 23 kills, 9 assists, k/d of 3.8. 5200 points. Second on my team was 4100. The highest score on the other team was only 2600.
Just you beat me down and then give me cake. Why you gotta be like that Destiny?? Hit rank 3. Haven't turned in the weeklies yet and if I just wait until Monday, I hit Rank 5. Now I can spend the weekend raiding and hopefully break 300;

Once you hit rank 4 (slightly before, actually) the weekly bounties, assuming you are wearing the appropriate IB stuff, will take you to 5, even with the small-ish bonus today.
I have the shader, banner and just got the butt towel last night, so I'm hoping I'll hit rank 5 easy over the weekend.
If I use my only copy of an exotic weapon to infuse something else, can I still buy another copy of it in the future from the weapon kiosk/iPad in the tower for an exotic shard/2500 glimmer, or would I have to do the whole 150 legendary marks thing?
Just thinking about using my 310 suros to infuse my hung jury to 310. I don't use it (even in the crucible), so is it really worth having it if I could infuse something I do to the current cap?

Awesome IB run with the PA folks netted me the top score for my Iron Gauntlet (?) bounty and got me to rank 3. According to the calculators posted, I should be able to stop IB on that character entirely and wait til Monday, when popping the 3 weeklies will take me to 5. Not too shabby.
