I have been running Chaperone in Irritable Bowel this week to great success. I need to make a sweet montage of blowing fools heads off. I also run Sealed Grasps with Fast Twitch, so I get two Blinkstrikes super fast. Perfect for my "kamikaze" playstyle.

I feel gross. I'm rank 5 in IB now but the game that got me there was really close and then we started noticeably losing and then a nightstalker on my team started cheating and we won pretty easily. Reported him. Hopefully he gets some kind of punishment.

This vendor Nirwen's Mercy seems completely ridiculous. The long-range scope + outlaw + handlaid stock is just silly considering it innately has great stability. I can imagine this gun will dominate Crucible for some time.

IB is 100% ruined for me. I am only playing against people who are way better than me with much better map knowledge, cheating nightstalkers, and every now and then lag switching.
The few enemies I hit with the IB pulse rifle did not seem to take shit for damage from it either. I hope this wasn't a waste of marks, I could have gotten a red death instead.

Our group ran into a bunch of those cheating geese tonight (by the way nice job mosssnack12, Btlycan, The SquidProQuo, Tanith, Casually Hardcore kicking ass.) Our 3rd to last game had 3 of them on the enemy team, beating them was quite satisfying.

Man, my 280ish Titan is getting wrecked in IB compared to the 300 Warlock it seems, so many times I've died while the enemy I was shooting wound up with just a sliver of health. Need to get my LL up! The IB pulse rifle is pretty godly, picked it up on the Warlock earlier. Between third eye and the hilarious level of stability, you can really wreck people at a good distance. Have yet to actually see any cheating Nightstalkers, fortunately. Zipped on up to rank 2 for what it's worth tho, so at least I can buy the boots tomorrow.
there are ways that you can run to B on pantheon without crossing a single sniper's sights.
like i hear people bitching about snipers on that map constantly. dont move into the sniper corridors. it isnt required.
Every single path to B can be covered by snipers. Every single one.
Actually, on the center path to B, you can take the inside half and completely avoid snipers. It leads right into the center room, which you can then spread out and take B, or hit the snipers from close range.
Also, technically since no one ever takes/covers the low path, you could go that direction and jump up to the center room.
*snip*
How do I bubble? Seriously, this isn't a joke question. I feel like as soon as I drop my bubble I can't fucking kill anything. My shotgun misses every shot, everyone converges on my bubble, and I have to pray that a teammate shows up. This game's FOV is killing me in close-combat.

Yeah I dunno, I actually like Pantheon a lot, and I fucking hate snipers.
There are routes to B that keep you covered from the opposing side the entire way.

You can't shoot out of the bubble; and enemies can't shoot in. Honestly much of its advantage is for other players (in PvP; tons of uses in PvE), and not so much for you.
For PvP blessing of light is the way to go; you can pop out of your bubble, take a few shots, then back in to refill your shields, no shotgun required.. You can stay in and hope to shotgun folks, but without a saint-14 and/or lightning reflexes for shotgun hits/melee, you're still at risk.
It's arguably better for taking points (assuming you're IB'ing and doing control) than defending them, but good either way.
Everyone converges on the bubble because there's very few things that can take it out, from the outside. So enemies have to come to you, and teammates do too to get the buff.
Don't shoot a rocket or throw a grenade when you're in your bubble. :P
If you have Saint-14 good times. Use it. In PvP if you're defender, and you have Saint-14 there is virtually no reason to use any other helmet.
Bonus, when people see a Titan without Saint-14 they think they can just run into the bubble.
And they still can. if they even have a slightly better ping than you, you're pretty much guaranteed to lose the engagement since shotguns are one hit.
It's not that no backup plans aren't good, they are; but I don't think they're terribly great for a defender since you can get the same shield from punching and the same shield from the bubble.
If you're in your bubble, you have a shield. NBP's aren't going to do you much good except in the rare situation where you have multiple enemies in your bubble and you are somehow a god and can shotgun them all before they do it to you.
Otherwise a slight shuffle in and out of the shield will refill you anyway.
If you're in your shield, NBP's are going to do jack all. When you don't have your super? Sure.

Nopes all the way down
A shotgun blast is not instantly lethal if you have an overshield for the most part, meaning if they run into your bubble for a shotgun duel you are at an overwhelming advantage, punching dudes is a terrible way to activate force barrier because you get no bonus melee damage and you have to get a melee kill to activate it, and force barrier stacks with your bubble so it's awesome no matter what. And with NPB, Unbreakable, and Relentless you can have an overshield going very nearly 100% of the time with 300 Strength (I know, I'm advocating stacking strength, the world has truly gone mad)
Saint-14 is still good in PvE because of the way enemies go totally comatose when they're blind, but I can't see using it over NBP in Crucible
EDIT: Actually, looking at the numbers on Armor of Light, there's no possible way you should be losing a shotgun duel in your bubble.
Yeah it would be nice if Bungie dropped a temp ban on exploiters. I know they addressed the lag switchers so hopefully. We went against a lot more tonight, though we did beat one team using it. Very satisfying to do the "come at me bro" after killing them.

Chaperone was so nice on pantheon when I was rolling with PA yesterday. Nothing like shade stepping up to a zoomed in sniper and doming them with a slug. Then doing it to his other two friends. I honestly didn't think I would like or find much use for this shotgun when I read the abilities but then I underestimated how damn strong that thing was on a precision shot.

Nice, checked the calculator and with my two remaining finished weeklies in my inventory, I'll comfortably hit rank 5 today just by doing the dailies.
EDIT: also Tuesday can't come fast enough, I want my Chappie
Ran a good crew of IB with PA duders (even if our dicks are dangerously close to falling off). Though after everyone went to bed I managed to get that illusive top score, I guess I'm that much more lethal as a blade dancer versus a gun slinger.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

Lot of good games with PA folks last night. Felt like once we had a full group we found our groove real quick. Finished every bounty with the exception of hitting rank 4.
Couple of nice stomps even against a gaggle of cheaters.
Was my first time putting the Chaperone to work in the crucible. It just feels so good, man. If you're capable of close range head shots, there is no more rewarding gun. Bye bye Red Death. The Chaperone has certainly earned its spot at my dinner table.
I am not a fan of the hunter supers in crucible but there is nothing more satisfying than a throwing knife head shot.

I think once I finish Iron Banner today on my Warlock, I'm gonna sit down and bang out the rest of the TTK story on my Titan to finally get him to 40 and potentially start playing him a bit more.
No real remarkable games. I screwed up going Unbroken at 12 kills because I decided to switch to a more defensive play style to actually get the medal again, but yeah.

yeah this is what i do. run straight for b, take the path you describe to avoid all snipers. then i wait a few seconds for the opposing team and shotgun them.

Yikes. I just spent 3hours running around the Dreadnought in patrol, not doing much besides a couple patrol missions. Just fell in to the zone and ran with it. Did knock out a couple bounties and managed to pen one of the weird chests.

For the inside path, if the enemy team controls B there is a spot people can stand that gives them perfect line of sight on people coming around the corner from the inside part of the hallway.

There are, but I still don't really like the map due to how exposed B is and how much cover the areas looking into it have.
It's a meatgrinder of a map. A balanced version of Blind Watch.
Or about it being a scouts and snipers only party. Disappointing for a guy who loves his fusions and sidearms.
We got close, brought him down to around 10% and he bugged out, stopped taking damage entirely. Another time I suppose.

Pop your bubble and whenever anyone come in just shotgun and punch until they die. Stand at the far side of the bubble so you can get a clear shot
