2009 PAX Puzzle Quest Champion
I have beat Rygar on the NES and many of you have not.
Not sure if this has been posted, but looks like Target is going to have a Wii U bundle on sale for Black Friday.
Speaking of Target deals, going on right now is a Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal for all Wii U games (and PS4 and Xbone games). I just got Splatoon, Super Smash Bros, and Super Mario 3D World and I have tomorrow off so I am pretty fucking stoked right now!
The direct is obviously going to show Metroid 2 HD remake, Star WarsEpisode VII spherical droid racing and Suda 51/Platinum collaboration: Call of Duty with Mii support. It's so obvious.
Or y'know, lots of amiibos. What I'll actually call on this is updates/reminders that Zelda and Starfox are still coming, bundles for Christmas, one or two titles that are suddenly very close to release and maybe a virtual console release that noone saw coming but will wet people's pants. I'm not saying Mother 3, but I can't think of another potential VC title with that level of "all my dicks etc".

EDIT: actually no, I will be interested in that game if the art style gets a complete overhaul, because the render that people keep posting actually looks pretty sweet and not dark and gritty like twilight princess was
I imagine it'll start with a tribute to Iwata, followed by talk of Animal Crossing amiibo, the holiday game lineup, ending with the announcement of the 3DS Badge thing and Twilight Princess HD. Done.

There's sonething to be said for the simplicity of fighting enemies, block puzzles, and bombable shortcuts.
I don't think Zelda maker would work. I mean it could work technically but it would fail to capture what I really value about Zelda, the sense of progression and adventure. This is why Triforce Heroes holds no interest to me, it abandons the elements I love about Zelda the most. For the most part Mario has always been about individual levels that stand on their own... there's no character progression. That's why Mario Maker works.
I played the hell out of Super Mario All Stars, Land, 100% Land 2, World and 64. I initially liked Mario Sunshine, but soon I just got sick of it and finished the game as quickly as possible without bothering for more Shine Getting.
I don't like it at all, and I discovered I don't like Mario 64 either, despite a lot of play over the years. It's not an issue with 3d Mario, as I really enjoyed the Galaxy games.
I needed a reason to spend less money.

Eh, I don't think a Mario Sunshine remake is inherently unreasonable. Especially since they'd have to do some work to make it playable on the Wii U thanks to the pressure-sensitive stuff, anyway.
Six playable Smash characters sounds like a bit of a stretch, though.
