Yoshi's Woolly World talk because I don't know if there's a thread for it:
Holy hell did 4-S make me thankful that you don't have to collect all the items in one run in order to get 100%. Well, I was already happy about that, but that was the first stage that made me question if I could do it in one run if necessary.
This is a really fun game though. I'm one of the people who didn't mind the DS and 3DS Yoshi's Island games, but I'm definitely enjoying this more than those.
Junichi Masuda telling people to watch the Direct.
Pokemon Z pls
Hopefully including an announcement that Z will have that radar thing introduced in ORAS that told you whether you found all the Pokémon in any given area or not.

I could never get into any of the Yoshi's Island games (even the first one), but I'm really digging WW. For my tastes, this is far and away the best game in the series.
First of all - I actually owned Mr. Pants. It was a pretty fun little puzzle game and was super limited in it's US distribution. I had to find my copy at Kohl's of all places.
Second - I do want Minecraft on my Wii U. The touchscreen for inventory would be pretty fantastic and if they could manage to incorporate Amiibo in there it could be enormous. Imagine reading Mario and getting a set of 8 bit Mario blocks to put into your world?
I have an 11 year old son and can safely say for his age group Pokemon Z or Minecraft would be a huge announcement compared to Zelda TP. The big question for me is whether they have things that will actually hit before Christmas. Also, could they get me Minecraft on my n3ds
I think we'll also see them push their big holiday bundle. Multiple retailers are doing the Wii U/Smash/Splatoon bundle for $250 and that's a crazy deal. I'm guessing they'll at least mention the set.
I would buy Wii U Minecraft in a heartbeat. I play a lot of it on the PS3 with my daughter, but having 2 separate screens would be wonderful. Even just the off-TV aspect would be great for our household.
...I just had a crazy idea. Minecraft amiibos unlock crafting recipes to make Mario-themed world items in the Wii U Minecraft version. Maybe letting you build your own little mini-courses for friends to visit and play.

I'd rather they use existing amiibo for that.
Why not both? The Minecraft specific ones for world stuff, the character-specific ones for costumes of specific characters.

You know what I want that I feel pretty certain almost no one else does? Re-remakes of Red and Blue(Yellow too) in the YZ/ORAS style. Red and Yellow were huge parts of my late elementary school and early middle school years, and the newer games and remakes aren't recapturing those feels for me. Re-remakes of the original games with just the original 151 Pokemon would be so awesome! It'll never happen though. If they announced they were doing that, the fan base would get so mad.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.

Pokemon Z pls
If they do ima kick my own butt for buying Pokemon Y a week ago.
Then again I bought it for Nuzlocke purposes.....and it was on sale so I shouldn't take it so hard.
Minecraft at this point is almost like "why bother?" But given the title's evergreen nature, i guess it's important to get it integrated into the system, and not give young minecraft fans an excuse to skip over NX (which otherwise might have a lot of games they want).

I eventually learned to embrace past Gen 1 thanks to X/Y, but I would adore a Gen 1 remake since those are all still my favorite Pokemon, Kanto is my favorite region, and you can't play any form of RBY on the 3DS

Yeah I always say that and it always ends up being a HUGE seller so I have come to accept that it's a beast that can't be tamed.

This is purely anecdotal, but I feel like a lack of Minecraft killed a lot of potential WiiU sales. Working in retail, I talk to a lot of parents getting consoles for their kids. If Minecraft weren't part of the equation, most of them would have gone WiiU, since it had all the same kid-friendly games as PS and XBox (Lego anything, Skylanders, Infinity), plus the entire gamut of Nintendo properties. PS and XBox don't really have any kid-friendly exclusives (aside from LBP). But Minecraft was almost always a dealbreaker.
I completely agree. One of the main reasons my son wanted a 360 for his bedroom was to have Minecraft on his TV. We already own it on phones, tablets and PC, but he wanted a console version. It's a pretty significant hole in the library. I'm not sure which I'd enjoy more, using the tablet for inventory, or a Wiimote/Nunchuck control scheme.

What's even funnier is that Microsoft has more N64 games available on the Xbox One than Nintendo has for the Wii U. This is only counting the Wii U though, and not what's backwards compatible on the Wii's Virtual Console.

Regardless of how sad that is, Microsoft having more current gen games coming out on Vita than Sony is worse. Even if that number is one.

Yoshi's Island.
The only thing it shares with Epic Yarn is art style.

Lol. That's actually kind of cool.

And kids know the dif between the real thing and the various knockoffs like the one currently on the U
For me it would definitely be two screen co-op.
