Man I'm loving pvp in this game. Destro is pretty damn fun, free styling combos and stuns, And I don't even have my good shit yet (only 30). I don't quite get the "spin to win" shade people seem to throw at the class, as I only spin for movement/random reflect chances.

But seriously finding a guide for builds is like pulling my hair out. I'm basically set up for the frontal AoE for #2, to have the standard #4 have no cooldown etc. Otherwise I have no idea what I'm doing, though I've not had many issues in PvE. (A summoner took me out back and did bad things to me in a 1vs1 Arena match however. Mind this was before I had my SHORYUKEN and the resulting get-fucked air combo.
Shoryuken is pretty big, since it combos off of lots of defense options and into grabs.
Also, it's fucking shoryuken.
I'm not using a guide, I've literally just been looking at the skills I use a lot and adding any self-healing I can. The one key thing is turning Swift Strike into Tiger Strike, because then it primes Hellfire Kick on hit, which is free and crazy damaging.

I forget the exact names of skills at this point, but you can skill 3 to be usable on someone who is stunned I believe, and F becomes a follow up and does high damage in one of its skill paths. R is an alternate input for left mouse. Its an animation cancel.
If you can do that, you destroy anyone who is stunned, then it is just a matter of keeping them stunned.
You get really fast at it and you can still fit in a launch too.
I should not be given access to a character creator. Because it always ends with me making some sort of abomination.
I'mm assuming there are guilds and such, so which is the PA one?

Oh yeah, I know. I should have mentioned that I've got one character to level 20 already. It's just the character I'm playing with a buddy with. I just didn't know about the guild stuff.

No damage meters, basically people find out their damage by how long it takes too kill a thing. Like if you solo a boss or something. It becomes especially obvious in tower of mushin, with the speed kills and all.

Finally got onto Poharan, I play a Force Master named Pei Xawei. Added myself to the Google doc and Discord, but I don't know how to contact Kai.
Edit: About how long is the queue wait time if you have Premium? Might get a month for the moment since FE Fates is out about when it'd expire if it's vastly better than a four hour wait in peak times.

Those are some silly things they get access to at 50.
Not to mention FM gets a full on counter option for their free spammable 1 skill.

Well I was wrong about the damage number, its actually 80. But its a follow up to the skill you can turn phantom grip into (its like some black hole shit, a huge aoe slow on a long CD).
The counter is the bottom of the first collumn of the 1 skill. The path that already gives it a projectile resist. The hongmoon skill at the bottom we cant get yet. It counters for 0.5 sec and on successful counter moves them away and you backstep away as well (basically huge amount of space).
FM benefit heavily when the 50 patch hits.
So seriously, anyone who is into PVP we should do some stuff tonight.
I may have mentioned getting all my good KFM info from Shiro. They just uploaded a video finally from launch play. Completely destroying all the people without any experience.
What they do to the summoner around the 8-9 minute mark is nothing short of painful.
Asking here too: How do you reassign your... skill points? Them things you go into the K menu with. I did the auto-assign thing during the mission but wondered how to change that (and if there are any restrictions on doing so).

Hit the circle arrow next to the total points in the upper right. You can choose from just that skill, or all.
You can also just right click individual assignments and then hit the apply button at the bottom.

Basically I tried to give a good single target option and aoe. This is for really low level before you have options but that is why its a good base.
Two into the left path of your 2 skill (I dunno names because the site uses different ones than the US translation). Makes it use only 2 focus and do more damage. This is basically your spamtastic skill. Practice animation canceling it with left mouse, between the two of them you should be able to push you really solid single target damage quickly. Eventually you will put a third point into that path so crits give all focus back, and thus when you crit you gain one focus (from the left mouse). If you still have some focus issues somehow, then you can put 3 points into the left most left mouse skill to get extra focus back on crit (and it gets a crit chance bonus until it crits, helping that occur more).
Then that is your single target. In aoe situation I put 2 points into the F skill on counter (its called Iron Mountain on the site) so that you can use roundhouse kick after using it (which is the 4 skill that comes up after certain moves). That is a huge chunk of AOE damage. You simply need to counter something to do the F but in aoe situations, that should be easy. I also put points into the base 4 skill. This is also AOE and spammable, though with a 2 second cast time. When you get more points you put 1 more into that middle path, so it can be instant when you evade with Q or E, or just plain evade period.
After all that, look into getting 3 points into Q/E so it continues to evade for 1 second after use. Makes it much easier to get full agility (which makes you evade all for 6 seconds). Makes those skills incredible. That will allow more use of that instant 4 skill as well.
Some other ideas for points after that would be flying slam (the tab that jumps at people) 1 point just for the free move speed. Also putting 1 point into your backstep for a large movespeed boost that can even help you while getting around and out of sprint bar (or in combat)

For the most part you should be changing what you use based on the situation. There is always a better way to specialize. I was just going with something generic to get through leveling.
Like the right most skill there is great for survival as well. In large aoe situations you will refill your health like crazy, especially because damage seems to go up much faster than health while leveling.
