That's right.
Hell no.
Yes. After mastering Holy Knight, she stops in Knight for Equip Swords, then can move through all the classes like normal, while always being able to Lightning Stab stuff. Same with Mustadio and Mediator for Equip Guns.
Doc: That's right, twenty five years into the future. I've always dreamed on seeing the future, looking beyond my years, seeing the progress of mankind. I'll also be able to see who wins the next twenty-five world series.
I always put Agrias through knight for equip sword, but I've never had the patience to grind enough JP with her to unlock Dark Knight.
I think I'm going to try for it. I currently have Agrias as an archer with Equip Sword, so...a holy knight that can aim really hard.
For what it's worth, there's another battle later on with two switches, it needs to be Ramza there as well. You'll know it when you get to it (this battle's much easier though, and the only battle where killing everyone doesn't end the fight!)
I already had a mage with teleport, so it made way more sense to try that out.
I really don't know about this game. I want to finish it, but I'm tired of losing fights to flukey bullshit. It's starting to feel like the way you get good at this game is by knowing what's coming in advance and preparing for it, and that actually being good at tactics isn't worth a damn. It's made worse by the fact that I now HAVE to grind at barius valley, which is not a good place to grind at.

I have a copy of that game. Somewhere. I can't find any of my GBA games, which is a shame since I had some pretty rare ones. But yeah, Knight of Lodis. Which is technically a prequel to Tactics Ogre if you got the S+ ending.
Hey so as an update, I did this. Spent a fight just grinding the hell out of everything, got enough for Ignore Height, then went back and had Ramza drop down to help wipe out everybody, then got ready to go back over and open the gate to kill gafgarion.
Ramza can't jump back up the wall.
So my whole team is alive, just waiting at the gate to run through and kill gafgarion, but no one can open it.
I can't decide if I want to beat this game or set it on fire.
I had a monk with chakra who could heal people constantly and return mp, a time/black mage with teleport, a white/summoner with titan, and agrias whose stasis sword ignores height. I was able to lure gafgarion over with the mage and by planting ramza right by the wall. He would come over and attack, moving back and forth. I was able to get everyone in position so he'd come attack ramza, agrias could hit him with the sword, and I got him with a couple titans and some slows/bolts.
EFF YOU GAME
Double-fisted ninja sounds so naughty.
Mustadio doesn't have any extra dialogue in Golgorand.
That seems like a bit of a missed opportunity, considering MOST of the dialogue concerns a topic of interest. Ah well!
Think of it this way! That's a much better story than "I punched him three times and opened the gate"!
Yeah I'm definitely going to remember that more than most other fights in this game.
[CasterFaith/100 * TargetFaith/100 * MA * X]
Where X depends on the summon. I believe it's the case that MP cost maps proportionally to X.
If anyone else is interested, few games have been mathematically deconstructed as completely as FFT. This is the Battle Mechanics Guide, the bible for FFT: http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps/197339-final-fantasy-tactics/faqs/3876
Which based on the mechanics guide is based on caster HP! Nice, only too bad my Lancer can only cast it a grand total of once.
I'm pretty sure the math for any given Fire Emblem is all out there on the internet. Then again, Fire Emblem has always been about clean and quick math. Something I've always liked about the series.
Why I fear the ocean.
The positioning issue always bugged me with them.
