I have the same problem. Right now I have the LM displayed separately, but along with the LM from the Saturn V kit. I think that works pretty well. Its a fun visual showing the scale differences.
Went to the Lego store today, they had an offer for a free Hidden Side set, the Newbury Juice Bar, when you spent $50 or more.
So, long story short, I have the juice bar and a UCS Y-wing waiting to be built.
I did manage to say no to the anniversary Slave 1, and the Lunar Landing Module.
I'm counting that as evidence that I have some self control.

For now. Mwuahahaha! I went nuts a while ago and bought all of the Anniversary kits on a double points day.
It sucks that my timing of buying the Disneyland Train was just bad. Missed the last freebie since they were out and the juice bar was announced the next day.
I did build Vonreg's Tie Interceptor today while watching the seriously bad football games on TV. I don't know how it fares against the older Interceptors, but I really loved this build. No stickers and some crazy Technics pieces to put the wings on as well as attach the solar wings at an angle. The Kaz figure has interesting hair with it molded in brown plastic then a shiny black upper half. The Droid is also weird with its head. I need to watch the show now to know the story behind the characters. But for now it is just a really awesome red First Order Squint.
man I'd love for this set to become a reality, if Lego can't do official D&D because of licensing restrictions, this would still get people most of the way there for a homebrew set
A modular dungeon would be so good, you could build the map as players go.
God I would lose so much time and money making that happen.
It might be my new retirement goal.
Use the micro or nano scale figures for the actual dungeon and you could have a much larger, more flexible dungeon than with the full minifigures.
Could still use the full scale minifigures to show the characters/equipment, maybe put them on colored bases to match the minifigures and set them up in front of the players.
A handful of brick built markers (in the colors of the bases/nano figures) could clip over the edge of the DM Screen to track initiative as well.
Might run into a tough time decorating a dungeon in that scale though.

Counterpoint - Lego Harry Potter's Castle. You can do a lot in microfig scale.

They already made that. It's called Heroica. There were 5 of them.

Dang I forgot about those... They were really cool and I wished I could have picked them up back then.

I was thinking the same thing. I wish I had picked up duplicates of the sets. It was surprisingly modular. All the sets could be broken down into smaller sections and rearranged. The only real down side was that there weren't any real rooms. Almost everything was setup as "hallways".

Also have plenty of space to keep them since you no longer need to keep a car there.
Was a fun build! I may give it some additional parts to make the length match up more closely.
I was wondering if they'd still be using magnets in this one like the old one, looks like they got rid of them.
I love them using all the bright colorful pieces on the inside. They do this with the Saturn V and it makes the build a lot more fun.

Thanks for this heads up, I’ve been wanting to grab this set for a while now, and $18 all up including shipping is a good price
I think you use the light grey piece next.
Just drowning in a sea of light bluish gray.

it's a quality build but I don't think he actually put all the decals on correctly
like I get why some purists don't like to but I still think it's an important step for a video like this
All my units towards the top of the map are getting very nervous.
(And there's an Awesome waiting for anyone who understands the reference)

Edit: Or not... looks like the wheels are a single piece and not identical to the new train wheels. Still impressive!
Often mitigated by just selecting a lone infantryman and marching him north as an offering.
At this point it's more of a boat than a spaceship.
Do these air strikes go BRRRRRRRRT?
My wife was the big C&C buff. I admit that I never actually played the games myself.
It actually looked more like napalm but it was definitely with A-10s.
I'm pretty sure that A-10s can speak fluent whistle-boom in addition to their native language of BRRRRRRT.
