Real quick, what happens to my room stuff when I leave a free company/transfer servers?
It gets deleted. You lose all of it.
If you leave a Free Company all the stuff in your room gets put onto an NPC in the housing district where you can retrieve it up to a certain amount of time I believe.
The exception to this is any item in your room that specifically says that removing it will destroy the item (these are typically trophy items). When you place down an item of this type it will tell you that placing the item means that if you remove it it will go away.

The Thousand Maws of Toto-rok. It's not too bad, mostly just an old Gridanian prison that got abandoned when they built a nicer gaol closer to the city and now it's full of beasties and killer plants.

So that boss in the antitower is going to give me nightmares....
I really just want RDM. It's always been my favorite Final Fantasy job (DRK is in my top 5, which is why I skipped so much ARR content to rush through the MSQ). Jaunty hats, all sorts of magic, and swords or rapiers.
I don't really care how they implement it, I don't care what role it fulfills, I just want it.
I think if they go the spellblade route with it, it could be pretty fun. Some awesome fencing-looking moves with large elemental explosions would be something I'd try.

Spellblade +/- gravity magic and some weak self heals, and I'll be all over it.
I always though tit was fascinating how "Jack of all trades, master of none." turned into a negative phrase given that the full quote was "Jack of all trades, master of none, though oftentimes better than master of one"
Realistically while specialists are awesome practically speaking a 'jack of all trades' is often a much better option.
In video games however that is rarely the case, as hybrids or jack of all trade type characters/job/etc often are far outstripped by ones that focus on one role.
That being said just like every other job in the game thus far I'm sure Red Mage will be just fine when they add it and will fill whatever role it needs to nicely. What that role will be, remains to be seen.

Looks like extended poses? I don't recall DRGs getting that flip shifting into their idle pose previously

The fourth boss in Midas is a combining mech!!!!!!!
