I'm curious what the differences are between Elements and Premiere Pro. As I mentioned before, I'd prefer just paying a one-time fee then a sub model, but I've also gotten pretty accustomed to Premiere's controls. Is Elements just as convenient to use and offers the same video-editing features?
Somehow I think that's not an actual Doritos commercial
Doritos have a promotion where they solicit consumers to create a commercial for them, the winning commercial is played during the superbowl and the winner is giving a significant prize.
There's always a mix in the finalists of cheap and weird and funny verses genuinely high level visual effects and production value.

Edit: Also you can get a free trial of both so you can try Elements after your Pro trail runs out, replicate a project you already made and see how much difference there is.
The differences between Photoshop Pro and Photoshop Elements are almost negligible to a home user.

Do they show them later as well or is it only during the Super bowl?

Would there be any interest in a general media creation thread? Like covering video editing, filming, capture gear, how make podcast go, what's a good microphone, that kinda stuff? Somewhere that's more for talking about how you do than the actual content, like this thread and the podcast one. Seems we have at least a couple of video guys and the podcast thread is overflowing with hit podcasts.
I've always empathized with James' hatred of this game, as I too suffered it one misguided rental way back.
I fell into the trap of playing it through [ENTIRELY LEGITIMATE MEANS] after he railed on it. As Arin Hanson said, it does have rules, and you can figure most of them out with a bit of care, but the rules are entirely arbitrary and not very intuitive.
I keep crossing rivers,
Walking through forests,
Loving the sun
Every day I keep pulling thorns
From the depths of my heart
At night I keep igniting dreams
To clean every memory with sacred smoke
When I write your name
In the white sand with a blue background
When I look at the sky, in the cruel form of a grey cloud,
You appear
One evening, climb a high hill
Look at the past
You will know that I have not forgotten
I carry you inside me, to the core
And, that you may grow better, you will be here
Although I hide myself behind the mountain
And find a field full of sugar cane
There will be no way, my moonbeam,
For you to leave
I think that every instant survived while walking
And every second of uncertainty
Every moment of not knowing
Are the exact key to this tissue
That I always carry under my skin
In this way I protect you
Here, follow me inside
I carry you inside me, to the core
And, that you may grow better, you will be here
Although I hide myself behind the mountain
And find a field full of sugar cane
There will be no way, my moonbeam,
For you to leave
As a dude who moved across the world, away from my family, to find happiness
boy oh boy this hits close to home.
That's from his audition to play Kato in Green Hornet
I have to imagine the stage direction was from the cameraman saying "I didn't catch any of that".

I don't know if this has been posted already, but my Friend made this and I thought it was a pretty good watch. It's really aimed at folks into gaming history type docs.
Marty: The future, it's where you're going? Doc: That's right, twenty five years into the future. I've always dreamed on seeing the future, looking beyond my years, seeing the progress of mankind. I'll also be able to see who wins the next twenty-five world series.
@Usagi I laughed when I imagined you being in the same room as the guy in Jeans and grey-collared shirt.
I recently came across Buzzfeed videos and I'm getting a weird vibe from them. They seem awfully clickbaity with interesting ideas... I just can't shake the feeling that these are actors with leeway, but still prefabed to a huge extent.
They're very effective clickbait though; there is something oddly compelling about those dumb "X people try Y thing!" videos that tend to trap you in a related video loop.

Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
You can find lots of posts comparing the two

It was a little bit frightening...
Holy fuck. Why would you EVER just eat that straight up?
(Though I do think the video is fake. Judging by the secondary throw up mark behind him which indicates that they did it once before.)
