Also what a crazy Bedlam, that was pretty intense. Highest combined score in the history of that series! I nearly chewed my my claws off but OU squeezed out another win without the aid of a defense! BOOMER SOONER! Sorry Cowboys, better luck never.
Seriously though we are getting lucky that our offense is just that good that we barely out score the other side. If we manage to win out (our only real challenge now is TCU and the Big XII championship) I still don't see how we will advance in the playoffs with this Mike Stoops defense. With any luck he will follow his brother into retirement this year.

They're still a shoe in for the playoffs though.
If they beat Alabama and win the conference. If both of them were undefeated going into the conference championship, I'd expect both get in. But with a loss, I wouldn't be certain.
Holy Hell that Bama game. This week has been wild with Auburn showing Georgia that they aren't worthy of their rank.

It's a good matchup for our defense, which only has problems against spread attacks that can isolate our one slow LB on a fast RB. Wisconsin is going to pound it all day, which we should be able to hold down pretty well. Not sure how we score though.
Caveat: Michigan had a bunch of injuries yesterday so we're not sure about the availability of either starting corner or Rashan Gary or our best RB.

So, Army defeats Duke 21-16 to win all six of their home games and go 8-2.
Will we ever find out why the UCLA punter kicked to the wrong side of the field?

Early in the game UCLA lined up to punt. The coverages all swarmed to the left. The punter kicked it to the right.
Which...okay...shank, right? Except the USC player who was supposed to block the gunner took off before the ball was hiked and ran back to catch the kick that apparently only he and the punter knew was coming.
He ran it back for a TD because only three UCLA players ended up on that side of the field. The actual return man for USC pretended he was going to field the kick as UCLA bear down on him.
Replays showed the punter surprised that the rest of the special team wasn't covering where he kicked it. And it wouldn't have mattered if the idiot had just kicked it hard enough to go out of bounds. Instead it was fielded along the sidelines.
USC wins by five.
And, as much as I liked him, Mora's got to go. 130th in run defense? That team has been playing uninspired since Hundley left. Rosen has great touch on long passes, but they're too flat otherwise. He's going to get eaten alive in the NFL. They have to beat Cal next Friday just to be bowl eligible.
I don't really like the idea, or even just the look, of firing a coach after losing the rivalry game. Especially with one game remaining. But regardless of the timing, Mora wasn't working out anymore.
I don't know who is available that I'd want to see.
