Apparently they were just going to release basically what was in the video as a tiny horde mode style thing on steam, but they looked at a bunch of the comments on Greenlight and decided to add a bunch more stuff to the game before they put it out.
I think it looks really cool
I love that low-poly, low-res crunchy textures look they have going for it. I'll definitely pick it up once it's released
The Sociable Soccer Kickstarter was cancelled today. 17 days to go on it but I guess they either figured they wouldn't make their goal given how little they'd made so far or they got Sony'd.
I think Sony were already putting some money into it.
I just hope it's not completely dead, because a new good Sensible Soccer (even under a different name) would be most welcome.
edit: Looking at John Hare's comments on the Kickstarter page, it seems they have a publisher now.

That's the new Kick Off and I cannot put into words how thrilled I am that in 2015 we're suddenly talking about both a new Kick Off and a new Sensible Soccer.
speaking of garbage indie games i tried playing dragon fin soup because it's free on PS+
yo hot tip
maybe don't have a stat menu with like 50 different stats take up less than half the screen on a console
absolutely fucking unreadable ui in that game
I think you may have a setting off because I can read it all just fine. It's a pretty great game overall.
i touched literally no settings from the first time i booted up the game
it is not made for sitting across the room on a couch, that shit is made for a computer screen
That's how I play it and it's fine. I don't touch the settings on my games either but they tend to change A LOT on their own every time I start the game up.
So some people in the Indivisble Neogaf thread were just freaking out because apparently at this point Woolie of the Best Friends has donated 5K to Indivisible. Which is a "create a boss" tier.
Now the question is, do they come up with something original, or are we getting an rpg boss fight against Zubaz
The strangest thing: I'm watching the MST3K Final Sacrifice, and read this exactly as Crow said "I have this intense craving for Zubaz" in one of the skits.
Never even heard the word or watched this before.
A Wizard's Lizard is pretty fun, but I'm really mad that half of my deaths have been by accidentally aggroing the nearly invincible shopkeeper (and on good runs too!). Why even put that in the fucking game!
A cheeky thief with a flare for theatrics, Kampan is a burglar like no other. Her agility and bravado, along with the sheer destructive force of her arm, have earned her the nickname "Iron Mouse" among Tai-Krung City authorities.
Originally a pickpocket trying to support her starving family, Kampan was arrested and pressed into service as a laborer at an Iron Kingdom ore processing facility. As an expendable prisoner, she was chosen to participate in a demonstration of the prototype new mining equipment under development there. However, the disastrous outcome of several test runs brought an abrupt end to the project, and the "unstable" arm was never completed.
Upon liberating herself - and the prototype - from the facility, Kampan took a keen interest in its inner workings. Using bits and pieces scavenged during her larcenous adventures, she's built the once-abandoned arm into a powerful tool and continues to improve upon it.

probably has more, but repeating the same three as the trailer went on and on got me less interested

It's the best Soccer game since Nintendo World Cup
