    Hajime no Ippo is pretty big in Japan. I'm not into anime anymore, but Hajime no Ippo is a favorite.

    Also, there have been two PS2 Hajime no Ippo games (Victorious Boxers) released in the US which no one played. The first one is awesome, never got around to playing the second.
