yes, but you might not want to, because windows tweaks its settings automatically when installed to an SSD and it's hard to track down what exactly it changes

Like all the privacy garbage? Wouldn't I need to change the garbage defaults on the hard drive version anyway or would the transfer transform them to super unchangeable garbage : (

no, it changes it settings to optimize SSD lifespan, and if you want all those changes, you'll have to do it yourself

you could just nuke and reinstall windows when you get it, instead of doing a bit-for-bit copy

A computer that has windows 10 installed and has been on the internet should, if you switch harddrives and boot with a win10 installer USB, install a fresh copy of win10 and validate it automatically.
Win10 binds the win10 key to the mac adress of the motherboard, and if an unverified copy calls the server with a verified mac adress it should accept you.

My bedroom is continually the coldest part of my house.

Step onto the landing after the heat has been on for a bit, lovely toasty.

I'm not sure why this is so, but I suspect the radiator is weaker.

it's almost funny to me that i thought we had hit the rock bottom floor of American politics when Dubya was president

it's oddly impressive in an outright depressing way that Trump has found several basements below that to plunge into

i miss Dubya now, all is forgiven, please come back George

i find Dubyas wide eyed simple idiocy far more palatable than Trumps malicious willfully stupid brand

It's pretty incredible what Trump can get away with saying. Kind of like BoJo, he is given astonishing latitude and things that would sink, instantly, the career of any other politician are shrugged off with oh that's just his way.

CNN had a headline that said "Does Trump transcend truth?"

That's a fancy way to not say that he's a lying bastard.

"Trump says it like it is" and because his audience feels like that's how it is, much credulity is afforded to him.

That's my perception. But in defiance of Trump I'm open to being proven wrong.

    Even Bojo ain't this bulletproof

I don't think you could get away with Trump levels of bigotry in British politics

I'm not saying we don't have politicians who share his views, there's probably people in UKIP cheering him on but you couldn't get on a soap box and say this shit without your party dropping you in a heartbeat
