Are the previous IB weapons in the loot tables for end-of-match rewards? I'm still kicking myself for not buying the vendor Ironwreath, and it would be nice if there was a chance to get one.
Unless they've changed it since last IB, the post-game loot can only contain what's currently on sale. However, your ultimate reward from finishing the Weekly IB Bounty can contain ANY of the Y2 IB gear and is guaranteed to be 310+.
This was changed as of last IB. You could get armor (not weapons) that were not in in the shop. I'm not sure, however, whether you could get armor that hadn't ever been in the shop. I know I picked up a new warlock bond that was higher light than my HM raid bond (314, I believe, which I have now beaten with one from SRL of all things). So I assume that the whole suit will be in rotation this time around since, I believe, helmet was the only piece that hadn't hit the store yet. Of course there's the whole new PS4-exclusive IB armor shenanigans so who knows.
I received a 316 helmet at rank 5 during the previous (renewed) Iron Banner, so I had the impression that any armor piece/weapon was possible...

Also, it may be of interest that we just did the nightfall and Brogey got a horn kit.
Also the nightfall is relatively quick - valus Tau'rac, solar burn, small arms, juggler, grounded, epic. We got taken, taken, tank, taken, VT for our encounters, but I don't know if they are set for a nightfall.
Except that VT has merely to look at you and you are creamed. So, provided you do not die and provided Yu can keep him in your sights it is IN THEORY quick.
Finally maxed all three sub-classes on my warlock.
There is now only equipment and learning enough about the other classes in the game to predict all the ways in which they can offer themselves as a sacrifice to me.
I find the PVP in Destiny unusually easy. I never kicked ass this hard in TF2 or Halo 4 PVP. I wonder if I'm getting matched up against a lot of low-light players.

The Rank 5 package can drop any item that is currently NOT on sale from Saladin at any level from 310 - 320. I myself received a 318 Scout Rifle.
As far as I know he can still only drop items that he sells (at least I'm relatively sure that's what he did last time, as I never saw anything drop that you could not potentially buy) but the way they worded it this time it seems like his sale list and the drop list overlap but are one item different?

Managed to get the HM challenge done, which supplied me with the artifact obvs, a 320 rocket and MG, and a 310 sniper. Very nice.
Then I went into trials with my untested defender titan. Blue helm and a modest 307 light. Ended up hooking up with a team that were just farming for shaders on their already flawless card. Every single game was against folks with 9+ wins. Had some serious nail biters, but I made flawless without using my mercy boon. Played a few games past that, but no scarab. Guys I was with got their shaders, so that was pretty cool.
Defender is a lot of fun. Shutting down a super with a suppression grenade is about as satisfying as it gets. Bubbles are situationally nice and supplying your mates with orbs at tight times is pretty great.
Some of my Chaperone highlights below. That last segment is exactly why I decided to roll a titan. Felt good.

Solar Burn and Small Arms (Grounded too, so everyone just camps instead of moving around)... So basically a good combination if Bungie hadnt taken away our Elemental Primaries?
They nerfed burns from being 3x damage to only 2x damage, with Small Arms and no (solar) elemental primaries that still equals normal damage on special and heavy weapons with solar elemental properties...? What a pointless combination.
Guess I'll see if my new Adept Doctrine of Passing is good for this

I find it really depends on the game type. If you are a pretty good pvper then normal stuff like Control and Clash don't really offer up much challenge. Skirmish and Rumble are a bit better as they have a few more try hards. But in the past it seemed if you really wanted to see people going full try hard you would go Salvage, now that isn't as bad as most people who are hardcore seem (at least in my experience) to do things like Elimination / Trials etc.

It starts late to try to foil people retaining their rank from the last one and buying out the store.
The timing hasn't been what's limiting that, it's that they've been patching the same day ever since TTK hit. Nobody is really sure if that reset thing will still work. It definitely worked pre-TTK even when they launched at 1 PM EST.
Frankly they fixed the issue by making IB rank have other effects than just store access. Now it influences drops after matches and a reward package on 5 so the trick doesn't do anywhere near as much as it once did. Which is probably a better approach for Bungie to take anyways.

Miles ahead of most of the people I've ended up with from destinylfg. My playtime is limited and inconsistent at best, so I often don't have the luxury of waiting for mostly well mannered folks to play with. If the opportunity to game with PArs arises, I typically jump on it. Unfortunately, it doesn't work out that way most of the time.

I didn't even realize I cancelled his Fist of Havoc until I was watching this the next day. I thought I totally wiffed on the shot. I love how, when this happens, Titans just stand there, confused. I am guilty of it, too.
Shadowshot to the face of a charging Titan. I can't tell if he was going to Shoulder Charge or if he had some other plan with Juggernaut. Either way, sorry, buddy.
Teabagging in Crucible is rude, but the play-to-win nature of Trials means anything goes. I don't do it myself, but I don't begrudge anyone that does. If an opponent teabagging you is bothering you, that's the point.

i think it's hilarious when people teabag me
because it's either because they're frustrated, which means they suck because i'm not that good
or because they think they're amazing, which is not something you prove by killing me -- someone who is not that good
and in my heart i know it's just that their mothers never loved them and they are sad sacks of human excrement with some minimal form of sentience and if i can't feel empathy for the lowest amongst us, what kind of person does that make me?
I think my favorite is hunters that forget they have the graviton helmet on when trying to teabag.
Also I've gotten in the habit of trying to teabag right after getting ressed because I'm so used to having that to escape the hard scope snipe. I'm sure it looks dumb on my warlock when I try doing it and die.

What I can't figure is how the driver was consistently maintaining maximum overdrive without exploding. Is it because driving through a gate slightly "heals" the sparrow?
