"most fulfilling crowdfunded game" is a pretty ridiculous award category
It kind of makes sense. Crowdfunding asks backers to partially shoulder the risk of the project failing, so exceeding their expectations is more significant than if they had no stake and could just wait for reviews before deciding to spend money. It also helps to build the reputation of crowdfunding in general, for people who care about that sort of thing.
Is the category about the most well-realized result of crowdfunding or something? The name is not very clear.
I feel I should point out that there are plenty of things that could be done besides making a new Undertale thread. You could start a thread on a different topic, or post in a thread that already exists. You could visit other websites. You could try out one of those other games that you've never gotten around to playing. You could read a book, or go outside if you happen to live in Europe or somewhere like that. If not, you could get some sleep. The whole world awaits you, if only you choose to seek it out.

Just remember that "can" doesn't need to mean "have to". Look forward, rather than letting yourself be defined by something that happened to you in the past.

I figured the new thread will also be a combo thread, especially given that a) Undertale discussion is still going and b) we're due for an upd8 update in a month or less.
In the five years I've been a registered member of the forum, there's never not been an MSPA thread for more than a few hours. Based on existing data, I expect there will continue to be MSPA threads on this forum long after MSPA itself has stopped existing, if such a day even arrives.
