I'm thinking papyrus for scout, sans for engie, and mtt for demo (because bombs)
maybe napstablook for spy because invisibility?
Mettaton as spy because he is relatively good at acting and deception.
I'd go with Toriel as medic rather than Alphys, because Alphys should be engineer.
Asgore physically makes sense as heavy weapons guy.
Undyne is demoman because giant anime swords, and demo is also a lynchpin hero class just like her.
The human child is soldier because it's the most ordinary and all-around and has a bit of a rivalry with demo, and because of how it matches up against Sans, who is a pyro with insane projectile reflecting skills. But mostly Sans just picked pyro because everyone was yelling at him for going AFK for 10 minutes and they were playing highlander and it was the only class left.
Oh wait I forgot sniper. Which means Napstablook is PERFECT for this role.
Alternately, Toriel as pyro, Sans as engi, Alphys as medic, Flowey as spy... there's a lot of ways this could go
Sans is the spy, because he's the most likely to just appear and disappear at will.

I'm on Chrome, the main thing about them that sucks is that they close when you click anywhere inside the box. So if I attempt to click the inner spoiler but miss, the outer spoiler closes and the whole page shifts so I have to page up multiple times to try again.
note that this includes right clicking to save things, so every image in a spoiler is unsaveable if you don't quote the post to get the image link to open it in its own tab

South By Southwest, an art festival sorta thing in Austin TX
it's primarily focused on film but there's other stuff there too and they've been having a growing indie game thing going for the past couple years

South By Southwest is one of the biggest industry events for music, is a good festival for film, and within the last 10 years expanded into interactive. Twitter launched there, for example.

It kind of makes sense. Crowdfunding asks backers to partially shoulder the risk of the project failing, so exceeding their expectations is more significant than if they had no stake and could just wait for reviews before deciding to spend money. It also helps to build the reputation of crowdfunding in general, for people who care about that sort of thing.
