ideally gom brings back their team league but I highly doubt it with a bunch of teams disbanding.

I've never found another player to be so inspired by as I have with Jaedong.

Sure, Boxer and Grrrrr were legit ground-breaking players who changed the game with their play, and there are the others who just constantly won like Flash and MC, and players who showed prowess and skill like Polt and that french zerg...


But Jaedong...

at first, I was scared to support him.

I had supported sAviOr, who ended up hurting me by not wanting to take a picture with Goomba, and then by being caught in the match-fixing scandal

Yeah, I hadn't seen him stream or play in things in a while but overall i am watching less SC2 so that's part of the issue. I still jump on for mutators but haven't done ladder in forever. Jaedong was one of the names I got attached to so it's notable that he is officially hanging it up.

Seeing Totalbiscuit in this state hurts my heart It's great he's still fighting, and I'm glad he's doing these things (I know it's good for him), it's just tough to see someone you consider a "friend" (despite never meeting them) going through something like that.

I know it shouldn't matter what country they come from, but I'm just tired of the all Korean finals. It's just so repetitive, and I'd really like it if there was a NA player I could root for but there never is. You know they are going down before the tournament even starts.

Yeah, basically Infestors. Infestors are so valuable late game. I don't think Dark built a single infestor the entire series. Though, I think every time he got to Ultras, he won the map, so he didn't need them. Such an amazing series though.

Finally finished the Legacy of the Void campaign! Exactly a year later :tell_me_more:

While I didn't find Metzen's broadstrokes of generic epic writing to be that bad, hoo boy that ending was laaaame.

what happened? They run out of money or something? So many gorgeous cutscenes early in the game, the one with Artanis visiting the ruined Dominion was great. I had feelings!

The final battle on Aiur was cool too, even if it was a clear rehash of All In (even had the exact same McGuffin to defend!) but man, everything in that epilogue was just terrible. Kerrigan is gonna ascend to be a Xel'naga! Cool! Kinda invalidates all the work out into making her Primal Zerg in HotS, but whatever! Then we gotta break Amon's defences, and here it comes, the epic confrontation.

She pews him for 2 seconds and it skips to two years later.

And hey, she's Terran again so she and Jimmy get to keep their happy ending with no real sacrifice or tragedy.

And then concept art slideshow with text saying wh'appen

Fuck that.

Wish I'd left the Epilogue unplayed.

Anyone here familiar with the sc2 map editor? Or if the existing co-op maps are editable? I had some ideas over the weekend that I'm sure won't go anywhere but I'll pretend for now that I can make them happen.

that's kind of what i've seen in a few places as well. my idea is not very original, i basically want to try and create commanders using the WC3 assets. i think amon's forces translates pretty well to old gods or the burning legion. geysers to gold mines, minerals to trees. i think the co-op take on the rts/rpg hybrid is really cool

not sure if anyone else cares, but the book starcraft: evolution is out. i'll be honest i didn't like it at first but i am 5 or 6 chapters in an really turned things around. there's plenty of book left for it to go horribly awry, but so far so good.

tanks feel really strong. I am hesitant to say anything concretely just because I have only played a couple of games but I am at least excited for a shakeup. as always I wish there more games to watch

The mp changes combined with LotV being 20 bucks right now have me feeling tempted. I miss getting destro I mean playing this online! No but seriously the changes look like they might make the game alot more fun.
